You definitely hear Eminem in Hopsin...! Even Em himself said it in Fall. "I inspire the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles, the Seans, the k-Dots, the 5'9s "
@@iulia.bianca.b Hurray! Each one, help one...,cum se spune! Trebuie să ne mărim și să ne coagulăm comunitatea și poate să îl introducem pe SK hip-hop-ului românesc ;) P.s. absolut după nume, plus că ai două nume inteligente...de unde și comentariul tău... I've followed the crumbs
@@alexiosc.b.4771 Ar fi interesant... Dar cred că puterea cuvântului e prea importantă în hip-hop. Cineva de nu înțelege limba nu poate aprecia o melodie 100%. Mesajul se pierde, chiar de îl traduci.
Did you know that he created Fly, because he was tired of his Ill Mind Of Hopsin videos getting all of the views? So he made a song with the deep message like he would use on Ill Mind, but named it something else.
I dropped out of college, and was bumming it. My parents lived on the beach, so I just smoked and drank each day, and chilled with my friends. This song was a shot to the gut cause I had discovered Hopsin when Raw dropped, and was obsessed with him. I joined the Marine Corps, and now 8 years later I'm an engineer for a surgical robotics company. He definitely had an influence. Life's a fickle bitch lol. Loved your review Mr. Stevie.
Bro i know this comment 2 yrs old but I really enjoyed to read it !!! This one of my favorite comments ive read. You really made a great change you just inspired me !!!! Also we share interest in Hopsins music !!
Hop was definitely influenced by Em AND D12, he's dope. Makes his own beats, produces his own music, directs his own videos, etc. Hes a talented mf. I'll mind 7 you're either gonna love or hate lol I'll mind 8 is dope Bout the business Die this way He has a few songs with Tech that are dope You should've known with Dax is dope Nocturnal Rainbows I need Help Picasso Witch doctor Hell's Carol The purge Hop is back I'll mind 6/best friend and Chris dolmeth are about the same topic, both dope. Crown Me The fiends are knocking There's too many hits to list but these are a few lol
@@santinerino624 I've noticed that some hop songs are just cringe to me in general. But even in hell carol, he had bars. Even in this ill mind, I find it cringe when he imitates the girls voice, but still a dope song.
@@santinerino624 nah the beat and his flows are dope. It's far from his best but songs like hell's Carol aren't meant to be super lyrically fire he's just having fun talking shit.
The song was the final shot for me when I was driving Lyft and just coasting through life and partying. Got my shit together and became a software engineer
I cant remember if you have done Hopsin before but all I can say is finally !!!!! ill mind 5... Em is one of his biggest influences ...Eminem even says i Inspired the Hopsins ... the Coles...The Logics in the song Fall.... there is a video of Hopsin freaking out about it... check it out. HOP is straight heat! Lets go on a journey!
Em even shouted him out in a song. On "Fall" from the "Kamikaze" album: “I belong here, clown, don’t tell me ’bout the culture / I inspire the Hopsins, the Logics, the Coles, the Seans, the K-Dots, the 5’9″s…”
I've known Hopsin/ Marcus in his AOL days. He was a battle rapper and someone said he was a black Eminem. Gotta say that he is true to himself. He has never drank, done drugs, or smoked cigarettes.
The message of this song is the most powerful. I love that he has a decently big name and using his skills to actively try to improve the quality of life of a younger generation. Very awesome!
Hopsin makes, creates, mixes and masters all of his beats and songs, 100% everything in all of his songs he made from scratch to finish. Hardest grinding dude out there!
Crazy thing is.... He dropped this song years ago before Em blew him up in his song Fall from the Kamikazee album. This song was just as relevant back then as it now and will continue to be so in future years/generations. On a side note, you should see how Hopsin reacted to Em's shout out in Fall. Epic!!
Hopsin is such a fire artist!!! ❤ You could check his other stuff such as I Need Help, Fly, Die This Way, Kill Her, Hop is Back, Panarama City, and all the other Ill Mind, like 4, 7 and 9. But before you check Ill Mind 9, you need to hear Hotel in Sydney first, to understand the whole story.
The older the Hopsin song is the more you can hear Eminem, as time passed he started sounding less like Eminem. But he's still shows hints here and there. One of Hopsins other influences is Big L, you can hear similarities with them as well.
Bout time you’ve got back on hopsin!! Check out Jarren Benton he used to be on funk volume with hopsin. Super dope my guy and everyone seems to be sleeping on him
Yesss!! Hopsin is dope & spits facts!! Great reaction brotha, hope to see more Hopsin on the channel! And Eminem is Hops favorite rapper & can definitely hear the influence 🔥🔥 🔥
Been getting down with Hopsin for a few years He's never got the respect he deserves it's killer that's finally getting sum play...first track I heard baby's daddy luv it !!!!!
This track still bangs just as good now as back when i 1st heard it years ago, nice to see you're reacting to it, you can consider taking on the entire Ill Mind series, nice reaction video.
This right here is the first Hop that I got introduced to, and it immediately made me a fan. I had no idea you hadn't reacted to this yet, but I'm glad you did. I haven't even dove that deep into his stuff, but I'm already a fan. You would absolutely love Ill Mind 7, though. Also, hey, you just hit 100k a bit ago and you're already at 120. Congrats on the channel blowing up man. You deserve it.
If you're looking for more Hopsin: "Ill Minds 8" is about his beef with his old manager and why he split away from Dizzy/the rest of his crew "Crown Me" is more of a classic banger, it's got some of that old south crunk energy to it IMO but it's not as deep "Hop is Back" is about one of his comebacks from a hiatus after media/depression/etc pushed him away from the game. "No Words" is funny as hell, it's Hop making fun of mumble rappers. Best part about Hop is how real he is. Dude has always been open about his battles against depression, social media, press, the industry, etc. Refused to bow to industry demands and carved his own path.
You talk about being late on it but that is really a good thing in a way. The trash songs from 7 years ago are forgotten while jewels like this are still being reacted to and talked about today. That is the hallmark of a great song.
