I didn't mind this shorter format but I like to have your longer videos playing on a second monitor while I work, I enjoy you talking about all the different cards and their interactions even though I don't play anymore.
I like the longer videos more. Seeing you talk about interesting card interactions and just being personable for half an hour to an hour is a nice change of pace from other content creators' truncated videos.
I too like the longer format. Got the notification for a new video and knew what I'd be doing for 30ish minutes after work. Was a little sad when i saw it was a short video. Regardless, thanks for doing what you do, i always look forward to your content!
I am a longform content enjoyer. This whole video felt like i was missing some context. I don’t have any problem with the shorts you’ve put out, but as far as gameplay videos go i definitely prefer the full video
Love the summarized version. When you're trying to show a specific moment this format is cool. But I do watch your content for your comments on the game and rules and such.
Nice highlight reel. I still enjoy the 30ish minute videos. Atla Palanai, hostility, and dragons approach is budget and vicious. 2 dragons approach becomes 24 3/1s with haste in a five player game last weekend.
Lol that is pretty silly. Hostility has always been tricky to use since its not legendary...tough to build around it but i suppose there are options now.
@@CommanderReplay It’s a silly and a very one trick deck but it’s proving resilient and lethal. Turn six I had 3 people dead with the 24 3/1s and an altar of dementia. It’s difficult to permanently remove hostility and as long as you hold back a few burn spells it’s hard to stop.
Hi there! Thank you for the vid, but I prefer the longer ones, to learn about plays and counterplays. Anyway, always a pleasure to see a vid from you uploaded (and I honestly would like to see more Angel stuff ;). Cheers!
To be honest there really werent any counterplays in this game other than the attempted archfiend play. Based on how my first 2 games i told everyone to go a little softer deckwise, but in this game I just got so stupidly lucky with the triple ramp then finding card draw when we were basically out of things to do. Any removal spell on the magmatic force and its a much longer game.
Like the format, felt like it was over too quickly. Wondering if there is a middle ground between this and a full episode, somewhere in the 10-15 minute range.
I think I liked the other longer videos better. It's nice to have some additional videos with shorter lengths but the shorter versions shouldn't replace the regular ones IMO
this would be cool in addition to longer vids. Another way to might be to show a few games quickly with the same deck and talk about the deck changes between games? 🤔
