Hordemode coop prototype in Unreal Engine 4

i can answer that. First he created multiple spawn points which spawns ai at multiple locations and try to look for player by ruuning to a specific point(idk if he did implement). Since he did not use navlink proxy ai cant jump to himm which makes it find another way for reach player which seems to us that AI has diffrent manner. i know that i posted very lately but if really want to do the above reply me

Hard to express this in years, but check out the description to learn C++ from me :) You'll make a core version of what you see in this video (although this version has more features and polish)

+MDGAMINGNZ Not terribly difficult, a lot of code is equal to my first person shooter, and even ShooterGame from Epic supports both first and third person. I might eventually add first person support for the heck of it. You mainly want a different animation set (and/or mesh) for the first person arms, hiding the 3rd person mesh + weapon when you control the character. If you are into C++, you should check out ShooterGame and see how they deal with 3rd and first person meshes in the weapon and character classes.

+megadan2k15 base game was done part-time in 3 months and is available on github, this addition of hordemode and some other changes took me 2ish days.

+xXSHREKKIDXx Yep, that's the default behavior. They can patrol and sense the player using sight and hearing. For horde mode I added this simple chase mode for the AI.

+Tom Looman I assume that would just require a bit more math on calculating multiple ways and booleans to not follow directly behind another AI?

+xXSHREKKIDXx Most of that is built-in with UE4 and I setup a Behavior Tree to handle the decision making.

Don't know what you mean with bugging out? Are you having issues with any of the projects?

My site has a basic version of this (SurvivalGame) available via GitHub. It doesn't include some of the big features you see here though! (eg. horde mode and some of the weapons)

No, Unreal Engine is an engine for building video games, if you're looking for developing 3D gun meshes you need to download a 3D software program such as Maya or 3DS Max

No i mean when i create a gun 3d model can i make my UE4 character shoot with it like COD characters

Yes, it just takes a few different components in order for it to work, particle effects, animation, functions, input and such
