A perfect straight to the product review. From unpacking, set up and game play without the unfunny jokes that some reviewers have a tendency to do. A big switch off for me. Thank you!
I immediately switched to a Thrustmaster T128 because there was something on the plastic that stopped the wheel a bit. Now I have Force Feedback for just 200€ and it is awesome! I definitely have more fun with the Thrustmaster than with the Hori!
It works fine with NFS Heat, it doesn't work with cloud gaming but if you download the game and turn off the controller and boot NFS Heat up with the wheel it works just fine.
*update* it actually works with NFS Heat; what I had to do is actually download the game instead of using cloud gaming and turn off my controller and start the game up with the wheel, after that it work great with NFS Heat as well!
I haven't tried playing Asphalt 9 with it, it works with Forza for sure, there is a switch on the top of the wheel 4:46 for PC or Xbox, try flipping that switch. There is also a Hori app you can download for this wheel as well.
Super late, but I just got one for myself, and when I plugged it in I expected it to turn on. I even pressed the Xbox button. a few times and even held it down too. What do I do? Edit: I forgot to say that my computer even made the "connected" sound effect whenever you plug something new in. Did I just get a faulty one?
Thanks for a great video 👍 I have that kind of wheel but no switch on top for pc and xbox. Mine is for Xbox One x please do you know where to find drivers for this wheel.
Try the App for the wheel and see if that works, if not you could just try plugging it into your PC and see if the driver downloads automatically if not you would have to go on their website and search for Hori steering wheel drivers but check the App first.
@@Dessensce there is a Hori App called the HORI Device Manager you can use with it just go to the Microsoft App Store or the Google Play Store and it's in the Apple App store as well, it should work with PC
I haven't used the app in a while but I thought it worked through your phone with the steering wheel, I'll have to look into it if that isn't the case...
Try unplugging the RJ11 cable from the back of the steering wheel that connects the wheel to the pedals and making sure it's snapped in all the way, and if you're playing Xbox make sure the wheel is on setting 2 on the top. Also unplug the USB and plug it back in and reset your system.
It is extremely entry level and there are features that are I unoptimised. I would recommend playing around on device manager or buying a more expensive wheel
I like it, I've had mine for almost a year now with no complaints. I've only used it with the Xbox Series X but it should be compatible with the Xbox One.
there is a switch on the top of the wheel to put it into windows 10 mode try switching that switch. you can also try updating the driver or if that doesn't work try reinstalling the driver
I'm not sure if there is a sensitivity setting for the steering wheel itself but there may be a setting in the game that you're playing that you can adjust depending on the game.
It should work great, it is compatible with both the Xbox Series S and the Xbox Series X. Forza 4 plays great for me on the Series X. Just make sure to download the game or play from an actual disc because it doesn't work with cloud gaming.
Someone in the comments said they had trouble getting it to work with the Xbox One S. It works with the Xbox Series S but I'm not sure about the Xbox One S...
I have a problem because if I press the brake in forza horizon 4, and when I release it it still holds and the car loses power because I press the gas and the brake still holds, then I connect the steering wheel one more time and it works for 5 minutes and then the same thing again, any ideas how to fix it?
The desk clamp is adjustable so the wheel can be adjusted to fit a variety of desk sizes from thin to thick, I would say at least 1/2 inch thick maybe a bit smaller. You can always put something underneath it to get some leverage if you need to...
Yep, SnowRunner works just fine with it on the Xbox Series X just not with cloud gaming but as long as you download the game or play from a disc it will work.
You might have to download the app, also try updating your drivers and if that doesn't work try uninstalling your driver for the Hori Steering wheel and reinstalling the driver again. See if you can find it in your Device Manager.
Can u messure how long the cord is on the wheel to connect to the console because I play on a big tv and don’t want to be so close because it hurts my eyes
It depends on the game you're playing. Most games have a reset to default setting in the game settings. You could also try using the App and try to reset it to default there as well.
I haven't tried it on my PC yet but just make sure you change the switch on top if you have any issues on PC, I use setting 1 for my Xbox and I think setting 2 is for PC but if you have any issues try both.
Yep, you can adjust the clamp, it adjusts pretty good. You can kind of see at the 5:00 and the 5:17 how it can adjust. My desk is about 1.5 inches thick, and it fits fine with room to adjust to a bigger size.
@@JuiceManTech thanks for the reply! Mine is about 2-1/4" thick. It's an Amazon table with a metal reinforcement bar under the actual desk, which is about 1/2" thick on it's own. I just didn't want to buy one them be surprised if the clamp couldn't fit over the bar and desk.
Thank you for the replies! I boight the wheel, though I've noticed that many of the wheel buttons double as the gas and brake pedal, as well as the paddle shift levers. Is this by design? What's going on with this thing? It does it on both mode 1 and 2.
The RSB and LSB double as gas and brake for me. Is this by design? Is there no other way to gain function of those two buttons to assign them to something else?
It should but I don't know for sure, there were some comments that someone had issues with that. I will test this and maybe do a video on this soon with my Xbox One S so I can know for sure...
@@maxwelldumlao5347 there is a switch on top of the steering wheel that you have to adjust sometimes or maybe it was an update issue. What games were you trying to play?
It should but I've only played it with the Series X but according to the manufacturer it is compatible with the Xbox One as well so that should include the S...
I bought this for my son for Christmas. He hooked it all up and went to play and the pedals don’t respond. I double checked the connection, restarted the Xbox, unplugged the usb, pretty much everything imaginable. I downloaded the app on the Xbox and I go to adjust the pedal sensitivity and the pedals don’t respond. Any suggestions??
Maybe check to see if the Xbox has an update available also check to see if the games have updates available and make sure the game is fully downloaded and not still downloading. Which Xbox version are you playing?
Hi! I wanna buy it for my children, but I don't know will it works with PAW PATROL GRAND PRIX on xbox series. This game don't support any game wheels. Bet maybe it will works in "controller mode". Plizz, can you test
I couldn't get it to work with PAW PATROL GRAND PRIX, I tried both downloading it and Cloud gaming but the wheel doesn't work with that game either way.
On wheel you have "Mode toggle switch" button. One is wheel mode and second one is gamepad, that allows play non supported games. Have u tried switch it. Sorry for my bad eanglish
@@JuiceManTech Alright! Thanks for the fast reply, but I have realised that the version I have was only for Xbox ONE, so sadly it wouldn't work, even if I tried. Have an amazing day brother!
