I love your review! The price of the Logitech one that people keep recommending jumped up in price (I'm assuming to take advantage of Forza Horizon 5's release). I then saw this wheel and wondered how it is because not many people cover the Hori ones. Thanks!
the hori is fine, the problems are the amount of plastic used and only xbox compatibility, oh and also, no h pattern shiftern, if u want one separetely u have to pay a bunch
this is pretty cool but for those wanting to buy this, i would recommend the PXN v10 instead which is like 10$ cheaper. it also comes with a quick release ffb wheel, an H pattern shifter, and adjustable 3 pedals (metal). the wheel is quite small but high quality, its made with alcantara leather which is very nice to hold... im not saying you shouldnt buy this wheel, but i recommend the PXN v10 better.
The wheel seems decent enough, too bad the pedals aren't all that desirable. There was a time I would have got one of these in a heart beat, but instead I went up market. As an entry level wheelbase, I'd consider the Hori.
Yeah, I think the niche is making it so we're seeing more plastic-y entry level systems like this with the better build quality reserved for the pricier models :\
Hi It Came From A Box, I ordered this wheel after watching your video. It looks cool and has a clutch pedal, but i realised Hori doesn’t produce a manual shifter. I have been looking for a manual shifter that is compatible with the dlx to use it on my xbox series, but could not get an answer. It will be great if you can help me out! Love, A fan
i I bought this product. When entering Horizon 5 in a Windows 11 environment, the wheel does not work. Logitech worked right away without any settings...
What I want to know is, should I wait to get a thrustmaster tmx pro, or the Logitech g920 but I am also checking if this is a relative challenge to the two
Deffo get the g920 it's better than this. Iv got both a ps4 and xbox one and series s. Got the wheel n peddles for the ps4 the g29 but not compatible with xbox one so buying another wheel I would get that myself. The g29 is reel leather and looks better in mo. Well worth it so I'm getting the g920 one day. The g29 cost me 180 second hand. No stock available.
Does this wheel work on farming simulator 22? That’s what I’m trying to get a wheel for. I would assume but I’m not sure. Would like to know before I possibly grab this.
I see that you used it for Dirt Rally 2.0 whhichh is also one of the compatible games, along with fh4, I tried it with both but both games dont recognize the device
hey Pindus, we had to unplug it and replug it in the first time and then it was picked up. have you tried all the basics like downloading the app, upgrading the firmware, restarting the console and then I'm plugging it if it's not picking it up?
@@itcamefromabox well it didn´t work, im starting to think its because im on pc but its compatible with pc and it shows fh4 as well as dirt rally 2.0 as compatible games
Did anybody actually tested this wheel on PC? I would like to know If it works fine on Windows because I am considering buying one. it would really help.
@@itcamefromabox Ok but what exactly do you mean by limited? do some things not work? would like to know because my friend has got a hori wheel and it works just fine but it isnt the same wheel tho.
They're almost the same exept hori dosen't have the separated shift gear and the handbrake (for now) the hori pedals are made in plastic but is pretty good quality for something in plastic, hope that this answer helps (sorry for bad english) P.s. I dont know if it works on pc, probably yes, but on xbox one, series S and X it works 100% perfectly and make less noise than the logi, ffb are almost the same
@@itcamefromabox oh man I checked the price and I didn’t expect that tag ngl… I might have to get that cheaper Ferrari steering wheel from PowerA I think 🤔
My force feedback doesn’t work anymore and i have no fucking clue why… my settings are all right, im playing forza 5 and i just stopped one day. Anyone know‘s why?
that happened to us last week and then we just connected and connected again and then we also restarted The Xbox and it went to working again. have you tried that??
Please get the Logitech g920, I’ve ordered the g920 with the shifter and pedals and it’s amazing and it has 900 degrees turning unlike this on3cwhich only does 270 degrees (correct me if I’m wrong)
@@panzer2402 yeah i correct you, in the video it shows that when going in the settings/profiles you can even change the specific point so its not only 270-900 but also 360 and so on
I just ordered one with a stand. It's my first steering wheel, although I considered Thrustmaster or Logitech too. Does it produce a lot of noise in regards to the mechanisms? *Edit* Yes, its pretty quiet, for the dual motors and gear mechanism.
@@casthenxomar Actually not terrible, price is a bit more than Logitech G923 and overall material/build quality doesn't justify it. But, steering is very responsive, sensitivity may need turning down, pedals can be configured, force feedback definitely tells you what your car is doing, nearly dislocated my elbow trying to control it😆. It definitely works on Series X with the large majority of racing/driving games. Tested on PC with Eurotruck Sim 2, menus is only thing I can navigate. Manufacturer is hopefully planning shifter and handbrake accessories.
@@Nilos94 strongly considering getting this one. In comparison with most of the other wheels I’ve been skimming through, like you said, for the price, it seems reasonable and in my opinion: looks great, nice and sleek, maintains a simple look. That’s good to hear man glad you’re liking it. Which stand did you get?
@@casthenxomar Its slightly more expensive than Logitech G923 though, which also has a shifter, sold separately. And its more compatible with PC, than Hori. If money, limited PC compatability and missing shifter isn't a issue for you, then go for it. Not bad for entry level.
@@itcamefromabox This manual is for the Overdrive and not for the HORI Force Feedback Racing Wheel DLX, the Force Feedback Wheel doesn't have that mode switch
From what I herd online it's strictly for the Xbox One/Series line of consoles and overall for the price it isn't worth it compared to the G29/920 models that roughly go at that same price. Some even stated that the wheel just goes out after a week or so playing which is a big "yikes" from me! It's a shame really because if Hori made this wheel a bit cheaper at retail price ($170 is the recommendation) and made it compatible for Windows and PlayStation then it would sell like hot cakes. The "Budget" level of FFB racing wheels from the 2000's are now long gone and replaced by the more cheaply bungie cord wheels that is is a adequate start for entry level sim racing (Around $100) but can't hold anything for the newer expensive FFB wheels and older FFB wheels.
Can someone please let me know if they have managed to get there's working with Forza 8 please ? i love the wheel how it feels I picked this up at £90 was a steal have had no issues with any older games but DOES NOT work with Forza 8. Having checked over Forza compatibility wheels its not stated on there website however the model below this is supported. Can or will this ever be compatible please I will return the Wheel otherwise as i only wanted it for Forza 8. Thanks Lewis
I'm not sure if they have a force feedback version for the PS4, but if you're looking for a race wheel, I'd say force feedback is the first thing you should consider on them!
For pc? I agree, but for xbox this is better, it works 100% on series X and S and have a garancy being a Microsoft official product, While for the logi I have seen several people complain that it does not work
