At first I thought that it looks blurry, but then I realized, that it actually is focusing on where you are looking at with the eye tracking and that is actually pretty impressive.
While its a cool idea for how to emulate real life eyes, I feel like that would just mess up your eyes, your eyes will naturally lose focus on things they are not looking at, I have played a few vr games that do it (admittedly they were free tech demo games), and it just speeds up the point when I need to stop for a break, it really hurts.
It's a cool trick they use where it only renders where you're looking at full resolution and lowers the rest of the screen at a lower resolution to help performance
@@FastForwardPlans why ??? it's not like the person who using the head set notice. PSVR is not like the tech demo, and it has been implemented very well .
@mightyhadi6132 human eyes naturally already lose focus. By creating faux points of unfocuse it forces the eyes to try to focus on those points. As it can be focused as it's not the eyes at fault it naturally strains them. Same thing happens when you watch a movie where the scene is very dark. Your eyes don't know the dark is fake it sees it as real so attempts to compensate tiring your eyes out in the process. It's just not very noticeable as your eyes are used to not being able to compensate for low light conditions. Unless you are partly blind your eyes are considerably less used to things refusing to come into focus. Idk why this idea that it might hurt is such a surprising one.
This game is what vr was invented for!!!! Awesome!!! The in-game voices are a bit quiet though wolf... Fun fact wolf, when you put two fingers up like the first time you did it, it's an insult here in the UK. It comes from the English/ french wars, the French used to cut the fingers off the bow hand when they caught them.
This is quite cool You do know this is a survival world it does not mean you are a criminal cause you are a bad guy, its probably you were part of another tribe and you killed enemies so the enemies see you are a criminal Maybe if you want to find the 12 targets use your sense to detect them
I dont know if you found out or not, but shadow carja were the ultimate bad guys in the first horizon, they were all one tribe at one point, the carja is a big tribe, the shadow carja were the ones who still followed the mad sun King instead of avad
i love this game, the vistas are simply jaw-dropping !! when you get higher they get breathtaking... i really hope once you complete it you can fast travel to the different spots.... i suspect that will be an option
been on my psvr2 all weekend, but this is the game im playing the most... ive set my ps5 behind me and put the cable on a mic stand directly above/behind me.... i literally cant feel it... i was on the "wireless or pass" bandwagon but i've come around, the visuals are that good !
My thoughts exactly. I'd love to play this myself first, but there's no way I'm getting PSVR2, so until they decide to port it to PC, watching Wolf play it will have to do.
Only played a couple hours last night because I was super hung over lol. But my god this game is truly gorgeous and feels so good. Can't wait to watch your gameplay Wolf!
@@solid_justice5855 what you are seeing up close looks good but as soon as you move or look into the distance, it is blurry and Pixley - vr2 has really bad mura
Every time you say something like, "I am so awesome!", I picture you cutting away to the scene from Golden Eye. The moment the hacker yells, "I am invincible!"
Wow! Mine is underway! I,m so hyped! That tall neck from the start is just as awesome as in the first game when i first encountered one and had to climb the moving ‘’appartement building’’. I want to see and follow you as usual wolf but i am afraid you gonna spoil bigtime.
I super excited for this series but I’m probably going to wait a few months until I get my own psvr2 and it’s going to kill me seeing all these great series coming out and not watching them.
YES!! I watched jacksepticeye play his brief play through this morning and I said "YES HE BETTER PLAY THIS ITS GORGEOUS AND FUN AND HE WILL LOVE THE HAPTICS AND EYETRACKING" but I don't have a psvr2 but I do have a ps4 and a good pc so well see if I can get the money lol. I definitely need to play the other two horizon games. Have fun!
Man I regret getting rid of my PS4 pro now. I'd get the VR gear and try this. I've never played VR but this makes me want to. Love Horizon Zero Dawn Universe. (edit: also have to add, I watched one other playthrough of this. Yours is better in that you found out more fun mechanics the other player didn't.)
So I would like to say. Spoilers for the latter part of the episode but when Alloy runs through the bushes it just reminds me that the player just goes whatever direction they want and I love that.
Was wondering if you could comment on whether or not you noticed the screen door effect or any blurring effects when using smooth turning and how that compares to say, the quest 2,and other headsets you've used. Review channels have talked about these issues but haven't specifically stated that the screen door effect is more or less noticeable than on quest 2. I was surprised to hear this being an issue. I barely notice any screen door effect on my quest 2 so was surprised to hear reviewers talking about the psvr 2 having it.
i am both loving and flippen hating you right now! loving you for playing this game and hating you for playing this game BEFORE ME gaaahhhh im FULL OF EXCITEMENT *ded*
