Same here. After hearing the reputation the people of the daunt give the tenakth I was uncertain about how Hakarro would actually be as a character, but after meeting Hakarro he is probably my favorite leader in Horizon. He’s such a humble man and I wish we got to see more of him.

There was so much info kept from the public. The only thing known was that Carrie Anne Moss was in it and that’s it.

Most of them probably died in during the attack on the kulrut because of the snake. Also, it would be unfair to a clan to not include them in the opportunity to become a marshal, and hekarro made it the law that thw kulrut couldn’t be hosted without all three clans

@Hockeyking405 but if you really pay attention all of the contestants actually survived it was random people that died trying fight that snake and regalia's army... if you can go back on RU-vid and watch that entire scene you will see what I'm talking about I must have watched it close to 15 times because I was trying to figure out what I was missing they literally just disappear they just go away which means that third one wasn't even really necessary he only picks that amount if I'm not mistaken one of the videos I even watched had shown somebody go in and look into the games files and all that nonsense however it is they do it and yeah he's only programmed to take on for 8 Marshalls are originally in the competition and those eight Marshalls don't die.... so it's actually a really huge error or continuity issue... Seriously go watch that entire part of somebody's playthrough or something on RU-vid You'll see what I'm talking about

I'm honestly glad it's not just me. I really disliked how... inconsistently written she felt. Brushes of her friends and allies that she's known for a while now like it's nothing, but then also immediately offers her help to to whatever to the first stranger in trouble.

She was or is likeable, it's that due to the world ending in just a few months for a number of reasons, thanks to Hephaestus running wild the machines running rampant killing thousands of humans rather than tending to their tasks, the weather system is out of control, a blight chokes the land killing both plants and animals alike, the water is or will be poisoned, all because the other subordinate functions are lost without Gaia, all of this combined with the fact that she is literally the only person capable of stopping it puts an immense amount of stress on her shoulders leaving her with little time to socialize or whatever, add to her upbringing and it's no surprise she has little time or respect for traditions, authority figures, romance, or anything that has to do with socializing, not to mention outside of Beta most people truly don't understand her and her intelligence, and how she sees things.

Damn Aloy for helping everyone and then moving on to try and save the world.

It's not about her respecting traditions, it's about her treating her friends the same way she was treated as an outcast. She's obnoxious and unlikable, because they wrote her that way. Yet, strangely, even with her attitude people still flock to her like a trope.
