Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition | Building An Epic Fight 

I was so incredibly impressed with the horus battle. To see that absolutely gargantuan creature moving across the landscape was something I never thought would be possible. That thing has so much detail, every bit of it was moving and nothing was forgotten. What a masterpiece.

What I love about this is that the creators actually took the time to make a moving model. It's not just a background piece with extended parts for battle; but a fully rendered model that interacts with the environment. Sekya even battles it in real time. You don't notice but she's more than just a set piece. That takes dedication to go all in like that. And I'm glad they did.

This fight was easily the most impressive thing I've ever seen in any game. Keep making amazing games! This one was a banger.

The graphics, the music, the spectacle. Horus fight is one of the coolest of all time!

Seeing this fight with the Horus made me think of all the stuff that could possibly happen in the third game when it comes to enemies and bosses I really hope Hepheastus creates some insane stuff for Aloy to fight !

The Horus boss fight was a masterfully crafted experience for me to play through. Hearing the epic music, watching the devastating force of this huge metal devil in action, down to the 1v1 beach encounter and the interior parkour at the end - it was a fight unlike anything I could've imagined. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in Horizon 3. Keep up the great work Guerilla team!

Honestly I loved the boss fights from Zero Dawn and Forbidden West but the DLC was absolutely mind blowing. I was in AWE, shock and amazed all at the same time. I never expected Horizon to go down this route and it was such a pleasant surprise to say you did the Horus justice us just an understatement you created pure magic. I cannot wait to see what Guerrilla Games achieves next 👑

The most cinematic bossfight I've seen in games so far.Nearly perfect in everything.The other good thing is it actually performed better than normal gameplay on my old ass 8700K + 3060.No framerate drops,stutters,etc. Excited AF to see Horizon 3. Don't give up,guys!

Horizon Forbidden West is an INSANE achievement in and of itself. Incredibly detailed MASSIVE game orders of magnitude bigger than Zero Dawn in all aspects of gameplay, soundscape, music, visual fidelity, quest design, cutscene direction and more! Developed partially during Frozen Wilds DLC production and partially during the pandemic. It seems impossible to pull that off! And to top it off with THIS??? The level of detail, direction, music and technical optimizations are beyond insane! HOW? WHAT ANCIENT POWERS DID YOU PEOPLE INVOKE?

Wish the game had more boss fights in general, besides just a regular machine but harder. Fighting the horas was extremely fun and super engaging, much better then the other “boss” fights.

My favorite part was probably the battle soundtrack, honestly. Shivers every time I listen to it.

I loved this whole fight. This felt like a much more appropriately epic way to end things. Only thing I could think of it needing was maybe having Seyka flying around a little bit more obvious, but still great I'd you notice it.

Such a good setpiece and a perfect way to show the scale before the fight starts . Hope ideas like this are incorporated in your future titles . I have to say the Principle game designer Arne Oehme designer looks a lot like the Helghast leader from Killzone Liberation on the PSP .

The boss fight in this DLC is even more epic-er than the game itself.

Ich liebe eure Spiele. Weil ihr eure spiele liebt. Das merkt man. 200+ Stunden in HFW und ich bin lange noch nicht fertig. Ich hab beide Spiele auf PC gespielt und mir trotzdem die Playstation Versionen gekauft. Ich habe keine Playstation 😂. 2 jahre habe ich mich nicht Spoilern lassen bis die PC version draußen war. Und dann kam der Horus Kampf. Absolute Legende. Ich freu mich auf den dritten Teil. Liebe an euer gesamtes Team und die Horizon Serie.

It was an amazing fight with the Horus, but I wish there was more weak spots reachable to glider movements, since the machine is huge, you could have made us fight it in it's own corridors with tentacles forest feeling, or Eye Weakspot for us to reach to. This way you would really feel the scale of the machine and explore it's parts closely, hopefully more to come 🎉 Good job Guerilla Games, but please bring the HZD gravity feeling to machines, in HFW they are bouncy af, please fix.

I hope that in the third chapter the opportunity for a new clash with the Horus will arise because in my opinion it was the best clash of the series

I want to fight the horus again but I'd have to either start a new save completely or backtrack and lose days worth of progress 😭 wish there was an easier way to go back to that fight

my favourite part about this fight was when Aloy turned out gay

Game was superb but please keep a linear path in next game at least before you beat the game first time. Side missions add too much bloat and veer from main story too much in AAA games (FF16) these days. Only Spiderman 2 got it right imo.

Next Horizon game......fully aWakened NEMESIS creates TRANSFORMERS. Aloy with GAIA creates their own robots to fight them 😅

I will remember this boss fight forever, the spectacular music, the spectacular fight, the graphics that look like reality, I had shivers throughout the entire boss fight. With a spectacular ending! You at guerilla are a fantastic team, I can't wait to hear more about Horizon 3🔥.

I remember back in 2018 on the Horizon Discord mentioning that it'd be really cool if Aloy had to fight a Horus and people were going on about how it wouldn't make sense or that it wouldn't work. But here we are, Aloy fighting a Horus.

From gliding to mount flying, to underwater cauldrons. All the new weapons and techniques have been way too fun! Epic boss fight and a satisfying ending with Seyka. I was rooting for them to hook up. When she was first introduced I felt they were kindred spirits.

I was on the edge of my seat during the entire Horus sequence. It was a truly incredible experience. It’s my favourite boss battle so far!
