The weapon wheel might not be quite exactly the same as the first game. In Zero Dawn, you could only have four weapons equipped in the weapon wheel at one time. In this gameplay, it looked like there were more than four weapons in the weapon wheel.

The weapon wheel was segmented into 6 sections, which probably means 6 weapons. I would've preferred exchangeable weapon wheels with different load outs. On higher difficulties you really want more specialized damage type weapons. For a more fluid combat flow that is. Don't know how that would integrate with the ultimate finisher moves, but yeah, more is better😂

The story of Zero Dawn was a friggin masterpiece, the side-quests, the fleshed out characters, the message of going against traditions an social conventions to think for yourself and the combat wasn't just hack n' slash. I'm still trying to get over the fact that Tiny Tina from Boarderlands *IS* Aloy lol. The Dev's could always be looking at an identical release date of February 28th, just my opinion but i think Sony having a AAA release at that time of year makes more sense... Better to have it stand on it's own than drowned out by all the stupid annual releases surrounding September 'til the end of year.

Looks good but no release date means there is a good chance it won't be this year... but with the lack of PS5 in stock retail, that really doesn't bother me much.

This made me way more excited for this game. I platinumed the first, enjoyed it tremendously and this looks even more fun. Maybe melee will actually be useful in this one

I always end up getting these exclusives but the 30fps is so hard to deal with or if it's 60fps the image looks so watered down...loving HZD and Days Gone on PC at insane fps, ultra wide, native resolution. Hope this will be on PC too some day but don't mean I won't check it out on PS5 too.

Miles Morales and Demons Souls looked pretty good at 60 FPS, I could hardly tell the difference tbh. Going down to 30 FPS is just way too painful for me but it's probably since i'm mostly a PC gamer and used to at least 60.

Hopefully one can actually buy a PS5 by the time this game releases. Stock hasn't exactly been good for PS5s since release. I have a PS4 Pro . . . but this would be a game I'd want to oogle on the PS5.

If it was coming out this year they would’ve announced a release date to cap off the show. The original released in March and I expect a similar Spring release in 2022.

Could it get delayed of course it could but I just still strongly believe it'll come out this year my guess is they probably don't want to the attention away from ratchet and Clanck rift apart my guess Is they will probably announce the release date hopefully after ratchet and Clanck rift apart comes out

I love that despite Aloy being a protagonist with at least _some_ actual personality, we’ve all decided her defining character trait is Ginger Seriously though as someone who doesn’t even care about framerates its pathetic these things aren’t running 60fps at this point. The only reason they don’t is cheapness on the manufacturers’ parts

Neither of you are correct. The issue is pretty things sell and devs push graphics before gameplay. That goes for all things gameplay. From innovations in systems and design to actual experience, like 60fps. If they wanted to reduce the eye candy or the ridiculous 4k agenda. It could run 60fps fine on this hardware. But gaming has become hollywood. Add more CGI and sell the same product on looks alone. You can name a thousand run of the mill action films with explosions and effects just like you can name a thousand open world games that look great, but are a thousand miles wide and an inch deep. This is the problem. Most developers arent interested in pushing the medium forward and using its strengths. They want to mirror hollywood.

I am excited to play this but it would seem the capture device you used makes it look the same or worse than the original graphically.... or it just looks the same. Not a problem other than praising it's looks is just a lie.

Oh course it's scripted. They'd never let one of us play it live. Developer: By going right you'll encounter the enemy and trigger a boss fight... Where are going? Gamers: I saw something shinny. Developer: We haven't finished encoding collectables yet. Gamers: What about that building. Can I climb to the top of the building? Developer: That area is not included in the demo. Three hours later Developer: Will you please fight the boss?
