In the (no longer) final episode we explore the most recent, but also largest, impossible location in all of Horizon: Zero Dawn! Join my Discord Server! / discord Twitter: / saurillian TikTok: / saurillian
I explored this place when I was on my way to gravehoard. I just ignored the warning. I found a place where there was a big cave wall and a big hole on it. It was beautiful to see the sunlight shine through the big hole. It looked like fantasy place
Excellent find! I spend so much time just exploring the map - subscribed! There's a way up the blacked out mesa by Brin's cabin. My kid found that fairly early on and would go up there for medicinal flowers and rabbits. There are hit boxes above his empty livestock corral and around. I also got HZD for the PC so I could have access to the modding features. This allows unlimited map access, including turning off the out of bounds warning, invisible walls, and transport to any map location, including Naming Cliff and Sobeck's Ranch.
If you're interested technically why you can "walk through rocks" it's math intensive to check for collision, so the geometry for collision is different from rendering. So no one built the geometry for the collision for those rocks. Additionally, it's possible that some of the rocks are procedurally generated and they weren't built by hand.
I wish they didn’t take out anything from what was originally intended. There’s so much more to explore and in the remake I hope they add the stuff they took out for the final PS4 game
I really doubt they will, most of that was taken out very early in development. I expect the remake to essentially be the same game just in the updated Decima engine used for Forbidden West with maybe some new features thrown in, though that's a stretch for what I expect
Saurillian, I congratulate you for this such cool series. I love this game and the sequel, and this has been a such nice way to revisit it, and I'll miss it. Hope to still see cool stuff from you
4:28 I wished the game never puts those annoying warnings! It did stop me from exploring more areas of the game. I never even attempted to go to this area. As I never expected anything here and the game forcing you to turn back. The map and where you can actually go in this game are so flawed.
I randomly found this by myself earlier today then randomly found this video a few hours later. go to the thunderjaw and Lancehorn site kinda above the hunting grounds @end of Nora and start of banuk, there's a glinthawk site off the map with no "you're leaving the area"
I actually found the spot you're talking about a while back, I honestly totally forgot it existed until now though! 😂 Thanks for reminding me, I now have a video to make
I've found a hidden valley in forbidden west, with 2 tremourtusks hiding in there. It shows on the map as a large mountain in the top middle of the map
Just found this channel and these series of videos, just wanted to say I'm so glad I did! I've found them to be super chill, and a great watch as someone who also enjoys the mysteries of the out-of-bounds. Cheers for making these. 😊
Thank you, and sorry for the late reply. I'm probably going to start a new series in the Horizon games before too long so keep your eyes peeled for that!
As long as you don't find a BRIDGES terminal up there I guess it's all right. One may also be able to access the area via the little stream, climbing up one of the cliffs? I have a vague recollection.
@@saurillian well... I'm not innocent either. I've prolly spent 10 hours just trying to jump up the sides of cliffs lol.... Got stuck a few times had to reload. I get it tho. I'm actually logged in right now killing wildlife for fun bahahaha trying to find a few skins
@darkwiddow1 The last couple weeks, I've been slowly getting through the second game on the hardest difficulty. I do have more videos to make in that game though... I should probably go do that. Lol
