I'm glad that this was the first open world game for me that I actually took my time with and did all the side missions. It took me like 55 hours and I really enjoyed it. I just need to get all the collectables.

The Shield Weaver armor doesn't make you invisible. It absorbs a large amount of damage before having to recharge. P.s. you missed the "Warm Socks" item you get from trading in all 3 stranded items. P.p.s. you can't get the stranded figure until almost the end of the story because the area it's in is inaccessible until a certain quest. After watching this video and actually completing the story i get a very strong feeling you didn't actually play the game but just snagged these things from other people online.

I spent time in the military stationed around Colorado Springs. It was interesting recognizing certain landmarks included into the game, not only the Air Force Academy but the Garden of the Gods rock formations and other Colorado icons such as the Red Rocks amphitheater.

This was a game I had to platinum. Most of the time I don't care enough to do it, but I really love the world that was created and knowing it's open for a sequel or at least some dlc action leaves me very happy.

honestly the 'triforce' symbol is kinda a very standard symbol honestly. you can find it anywhere irl in logos and such. plus those symbols are drawn by a tribe of people that hold the machines in high regard and seem to know a lot more about the machines than anybody else while still being primitive (Besides the main character and a second character who I wont mention due to spoilers)

The two skeletons actually remind me of the Lovers' tent in Skyrim, up north, near Winterhold.

The Vantage point log for the Air Force Academy chapel states outright that it is THE chapel, in Colorado Springs. The vantage near Devils Thirst confirms that, as it's a high rise in Colorado Springs. Add in that the stadium is Denver Stadium, and you pinpoint All-Mother mountain as being Cheyenne Mountain.

Not to mention that one of the vantages is Red Rocks Amphitheatre

Did anyone know that aloy can swim underwater for almost a minute...their will be a green life bar above her head while she's swimming..it's great for getting past the snapmas if u don't want to shot.. just hold the square button down....

There was a mission named Queen's Gambit. This is a nod to the TV series Arrow. Oliver Queen was on a ship named Queen's Gambit when it sunk. Also, Oliver Queen and Aloy are both archers.

I like that it said some structures bear resemblance to things in Colorado, then pointed to the USAF base located there. Meanwhile, they're staring at a stadium called DENVER STADIUM, you know... Like Denver Colorado..

Another reference i found i dunno if you have mentioned it, before you go under the sunfall arena when they order you to go for a bounty after that talk there are people around there that will go and look for the bounty you can talk to them, one of them wears an eye patch made from wood, it is exactly like odin norse god eye patch, and he mention (marvel) word also his name is something like udurd or odurdn something like that, he is an oseram, they are two people standing in front of the arena from the room were they talk about the bounty

you can talk to rosts grave all through the game , when Aloy does a major quest go back to the grave and Aloy keeps him updated of her adventure ,

Just went to check out that whirlpool for myself, didn't see anything of note aside from three lvl 27 corrupted snapjaws swimming a short distance away.

Great game

Am surprised nobody has noticed a hidden detail during the fight with Behemoth at the arena after being captured by Helis and you had to retrieve your gear by making the behemoth destroy the pillars. After retrieving your weapons, equip the tripcaster and set lots of traps in the arena especially the middle of the arena. Kill the behemoth but leave some of the traps which carry on into the cutscene. Sylens comes to rescue Aloy and his overriden mounts jumps over your traps while the enemy robots and the corruptors gets blown up by your traps.

The skeleton couple could be a game reference but it's also a more know life reference as The Lovers of Pompeii.

Hmmmm, ever heard of Red Rocks Amphitheatre? Probably the most famous concert venue in the world. Definitely in the top 3 anyways. In CO and in the game. Didn't have to figure out by discovering part of a college. Was a given during the whole game. Pretty sure they even say in a vantage point Devil's Gullet is CO springs.

About the armor... It's temp Invincibility, not invisability. Enemies can still very much see you.

The whirlpool requires a glitch to get to but contains the trailer for death stranding.

I had NO CLUE that Death Stranding and Horizon shared the same engine. Lol guess you really did live up to the video title. It makes so much sense now. I just assumed both developers liked one another enough to just leave little Easter eggs in either game (never played Death Stranding so I assumed it had Horizon Easter eggs).

On the rabbits i was scanning from a bit away and just saw the name "jack" pop up. I though "oo whos that" and ran up, noticing rabbits and killed them for upgrades, and got super confused when the person was gone. Now i know lmao

I never thought of buying this game at all but then it was given free by sony, and I beat it and can't put it down hunting the toughest mechs never gets boring. I bought the witcher 3 thanks to the experience I had and still do this game is awesome.

There are two rabbit name jack n jazz, when u approach it not going or run, no interact also so i shoot them and just loot like normal rabbit

The whole map looks like a triforce triangle. -Hades (evil) represents the triforce of power. (upper region) -Avad (peace) represents the triforce of wisdom. (bottom left region) -Aloy (brave, adventurer) represents the triforce of courage. (bottom right region)

I don't know if it's a easter egg or not but you can find a tree with a noose hanging from it.

In the game, I got something which is an easter egg of Death Stranding. I don't know nor remember it's name but it said something a baby, black liquid and a smell of decay.

Ok, so... I’ve played horizon zero dawn for a long time, I’m actually at my 3th new game+, and a found those two rabbits and I thought, die!! Both of ya, without scanning them... I would love to tell you everything I’ve experienced and spoil all the content of the story and totally ruin your hype of figuring out and experiencing the story fully, but I don’t have time for that crap... this entire comment is totally meaningless, and the only thing I was trying to take up was that I killed those two identical rabbits sitting right next to each other in the sacred land, by the first hunting ground you come across, and now I realize how weird I am for not being concerned about the two identical rabbits just sitting there doing nothing at all, not even running away if you scare them, no actually I did scan them, but because I’m so used to seeing “rabbit” when you scan a animal called a “rabbit” I didn’t realize that it said, well shit now I don’t remember the names of the rabbits... well you get my point, I don’t, if you do, then you have like 1000 IQ or something, I’m suprised that you’ve actually read all of this crap, but hell...
