those new bows also double the elemental arrows so a fully charged stack of 3 frost arrows will usually insta-freeze all machines depending on there resistance

I recently learned that the Banuk bows are not absolute upgrades from the Shadow ones. Obviously, Banuk bows deal huge damage upon full charge, but they're not as effective for spamming shots compared to Shadow bows because of their lower fire rate and lower damage with undercharged shots. Shadow bows, on the other hand, deals the same damage regardless of the draw charge. The charge on Shadow bows is purely for accuracy.

False. All my Banuk bows at max states can shoot like bullets. The only bow that would need to charge up is the power bow, but the Banuk hunter bow can shoot faster than any other bow, once its states is maxed out.

This dlc is great, mostly done everything in the dlc, the only trophy I need is the repair 5 different riding machines then I'm Done with the dlc, the dlc is great and totally worth 20 dollars if your not a psn plus member, the only thing I have an issue with the dlc is i was hoping the weapons and armor would look cooler but other than that I give this dlc 9/10 :)

I never hip-shot anyways so this bow was a must-have for me *SPOILERS* . . . . . Really helped with TFW. It also helped me beat my record on finishing The Looming Shadow, First time around (normal mode), it took me 2 hours and about 30 deaths. With the Banuk Striker Bow (hard mode), it took me 2 minutes to kill Helis and 3 to kill the Deathbringer.

I have a dumb quetion, what happens if you don't change the blueglams for the weapons till NG+, they will be carried over to the NG+ so we can have acces to the weapons earlier?

So I recently got the Banuk powershot bow. After applying the modification. Those high penetration arrows do 960 damage each, like holy crap that thing is OP. Especially with the skill that let's you shoot 3 at a time. I took down a stormbird with 2 shots.

Have you tried using the tearblaster weapon on the Frost & Fireclaws? I havent tried it yet but was wondering how effective it was. Its a bit of a shame they didnt make it moddable so it could've shot fire, ice, or shock waves instead of huge air blasts.

I kill Grazers then use the harvest arrow to knock off all the blaze while they are dead. You get 6 glaze for every 1 glaze canister you knock off. ( the first hunting grounds is a good spot to stock up )

BRO, I took the Banuk Striker Bow into The Looming Shadow, and (TL:DR, everything died) I went to fight the Deathbringer with the Harvest Arrows, I think I had 2 damage mods bringing it to and extra 85%-90%. And it took me *2 minutes*

DO not play NG+ Ultra hard without at least farming 100k shards. And make sre you packed all your mods in purple. Even better if it is Uber Purple, those with the highest or 2nd highest stats at least. You will be pissing arrows and traps in Ultra Hard as melee is almost useless against multiple/large enemies. So you need alot of money for Weapons and armour, and you need to farm for alot for parts to make ammo.

What mods do you recommend for each weapon?

I recommended Damage/Tear/fire (followed the sequence) Mods on your Hunter bow. They were necessary all. Ice/Spark/Corruption on your war bow. Your can average ability of mods or max on the most element you need. For me I chose Ice element. Increase high%Tear mods on Sharpshot bow. Max damage mod on Sling bomb and Trap.

Okay I need some help here...I want to get the striker bow...but I can’t find anymore fireclaw hearts...am I really out of luck??? Do I really have to play the game over again? I already killed off the six fireclaws...there really should’ve been specialty merchants to sell specific parts like there is in meridian.

Price of the weapons in Game+ mod is 1250 shards only and has four modification slots. I am playing on hard difficulty; does it has any effect on the price?

Not sure about new game + but I believe the price is tied to difficulty level only. I am on Ultra hard now (on New Game +) and the new weapons and the new outfits cost shards (about 6000 shards for weapons, 12000 shards for outfits) in addition to bluegleam. On normal (my first play through) the new weapons and outfits only cost bluegleam.

nice bro...but one thing i dnt understand in this game mine ver is complete edition but i am unable to figure out whether it has the frozen wild dlc or not...i searched several forums and they say these banuk weapons are accessible only via the dlc...standard versions have no banuk weapons...what i remember merchants in the game also they dnt offer any banuk class weapons to buy...can any one help me with these please

JorRaptor I know! truly overpowered weapons! (Yeah, I know this is late since truly a busy time for me) I use the Banuk Powershot Bow to take down a Rockbreaker and killed it in one shot, ha! (XD) (Via: 1 or 3 45-50+ Damage mods, froze the Rockbreaker with Ice elements, hold R2 with your Banuk Powershot Bow and shoot it's most vital weak spot: the Exhaust Port) (Downsides: Spending wires)

Yes, it is possible. I've gone back to the old stomping grounds to get out of the snow on occasion. Once you own anything from the DLC, they can be used at anytime anywhere in the game.

I replay the game, enough level heading to Frozen wild collect blueglem early on b4 heading to meredian. just to get a good bow.

I can't get any hearts for the Adept bows in NG+ Ultra Hard. I have plenty gleem, killed enough to get at least 1 heart. Fought multiple bears at once on a few occasions and killed many Scorchers. How is the harvest arrow used? Do you hit them with one before the kill? I have all the ability upgrades and level 57. I'm about to do the last part of the game and have been farming for hearts... and haven't any success...

I just got my scorcher heart on New Game + Ultra Hard that I needed to purchase the powershot bow. It literally took me probably 10+ Scorcher kills for them to finally drop a heart. It's possible but just takes so much time on UH it's annoying.

i didn't understand something, if i am playing in the ultra hard new game+ i cant get the banuk weapons? only the adepts? because when i talk to merchants i only the the adepts weapons

in new game plus, the new banuk weapons are call Adept weapons. Same banuk weapons as the ones in this video, they just have an extra mod slot (so 4). This is the same for the Shadow weapons in the main game. They are called Adept in new game plus and carry an extra mod slot.

ikr, even with huge distance advantage, the Scorcher can still easily charge to you and kill you. I found that hitting other part on fire claw doesn't deal much damage , you can only hit his weakspot- stomach and upper hand-limb. Probably the best way is still rope him down 1st.

I'm on ultra hard and it's crazy. I always do sneaky stuff if I can. Like that chieftan challenge when you face 3 frostclaws, I just hid in this hole space inside of some Rock in the center and blasted them with blast bombs while playing peek-a-boo. They couldn't touch me. I found it funny.

Honestly are the new bows even worth it? It seems even with the new good mods that they still fire slow and you need the shot to be fully charged to get the full damage. I might just stick with the weapons from the base game and use the unique mods on them.

I got three 51% damage mods in Frozen wilds and used them with the 50% and 49% damage mods from the regular game. You get at least one or two of those 51% damage mods from the animal figurine quest and the pigment quest.

Tom Sunter Well first set you difficulty to Story because you do like double damage. Then, I alternate between the Behemoth and Rockbreaker sites in the top-left part of the map. Just keep killing them and sell the hearts/lenses. I got around 10k shards every hour

Old comment, which I am sure was figured out by now. However, I will answer it for anyone in the same boat. You get the gold bows by completing all the hunter trails and submitting the medals you collect to the hunter guild female counter desk female. On the far left as soon as you enter the hunter guild house.

Integrated how? You can't find the new mods outside the DLC area, but once you have them you can use them in other parts of the game.

Are you visiting any of the merchants with the blue symbol? Those are the only ones that carry the new bows and outfits that you buy with bluegleam

i had this trouble but now i know, you have to use your previous saved completion of the main game not new game plus.the one just after completing the looming shadow.the frozen wilds should be clouded over.

i done this then ran through to the frozen wilds watched the glinthawke's sequence talked to bergrund then went to the first merchant in blue and the banuk bows were there.good luck.
