Horizon Zero Dawn Ending & Final Boss Fight 

I just don't like how they put you back before the final mission after beating the game.

This game had so much emotion in it. It was refreshing...

This is such a good game! I haven't played it but watch my boyfriend as he plays it. I realized, that GAIA is so smart that she modeled sobeck's genetic copy according to how sobeck would want her child to be, if ever she has one. It'll be good if they turn this game into a series or a movie, it has such a good storyline, I teared up at the end. Kudos Horizon Team!

Finally Aloy found out who her mother was, she had a destiny and she belonged. I was so happy for her. I have never wanted a character in a game to be brave and succeed as much as Aloy.

Wow so much hate..... if people played the whole story you would actually see how great this ending actually is, personally I loved it.

I don't care what you think, when i got to the final mission and played through it myself, it felt so badass. This, wasn't just a measly small fight. It was fucking epic. Edit: the way I worded this comment 4 years ago is a little cringe but point still stands

one of the best games i've ever played. the story was soo well written. It kept giving you small hints here and there regarding the history of mankind and you get so curious. the final boss was just a deathbringer, which was disappointing. But it's really hard when they kept sending corruptors to attack you. the ending was almost perfect. I got emotional. Can't wait for the sequel and the DLC.

Man, that Ganon fight at the end was crazy.

For people saying this ending is really bad: Actually play the game or watch a full playthrough, that way you get the actual fucking context of it.

The fight with Helis disappoints me, with what was such a great game. I felt let down by the fight with him, but his character design including his outfit..... FUCKING BADASS

This games story is absolutely amazing, but when you realize he started the end of the story below level 30😂😂 he must of completely ignored over half of the side missions and extras

Story 10/10 i loved how the plot reflects what we are living as society right now combat: 7/10 some melee attacks were kinda messy but i loved the weapons variety and the different ways i could use to defeat an enemy Visuals 10/10 the world was just gorgeous

Since fable 1 on the first Xbox I hadn't played a game so intriguing... Horizon Zero Dawn had me on the edge of my seat at times. It is a beautiful game start to finish. After 60 hours of total game time I will speak for myself as well as others that would be proud to say this game is truly a wonderful experience to be apart of. I personally, would rate Horizon Zero Dawn a 10/10. If anyone reading is skeptical about buying this game; don't be. Truly remarkable! P.S those of you who are so easily disturbed enough to post such preposterous comments about this game...... buy it ! And experience it for yourself!

I just finished the game and Jesus dude the ending was cray. I knew *Spoilers* Sylven still had that connection with Hades, but then again I would love to play Horizon 2 :D

one of the few creators that motivated me to start playing games and uploading video on youtube. I'm a very small channel and i'm currently doing a horizon zero dawn walkthrough as well.

I loved the final battle, except one thing. The final boss being a Deathbringer. I'm not saying the final boss was bad, far from it, but... we've already fought two Deathbringers before. If HADES inhabited an entirely new machine, or perhaps a Metal Devil, the finale would be absolutely perfect.

This game surpasses my beloved Dagon Age Origins, Dragon age Inquisition, Final Fantasy 12 and Witcher 3. This game is epic from its humble beginning to the epic final battle. I highly recommend this game.

This reminded me of the wonder I felt when I played the first Mass Effect. Discovering a new universe, saving the world, being a damn hero. I hope the sequels for this franchise don't disappoint...like Mass Effect did.

lol looking at the comments I see so many salty xbox owners mad they don't have a ps4. lol this game is just amazing. the fights leave you on edge of your seat feeling like you accomplished something when you defeated it. graphics are easily the best of the ps4 . story is amazing and makes you form an attachment to almost every character. tomb raider ? lol it wishes it could be this game.. this game is what final Fantasy 15 should have been .. and is the prime example of an rpg done right.

After 2 years i still can't believe how short the story is

This was the first PS4 game I played and meant so much to me. Who ever dislikes this game was probaly people who couldn't should straight and died 100 times so they blame the game. This is a beautiful game and can make you attached to it. 🥀

My only complaint was that this ending fight wasn't challenging enough. If you have the shield-weaver armor it's extremely easy.

Final boss was fucking awful, but that amazing story completely made up for it. Excellent game.

I finished the frozen wilds on ultra hard before this fight and when I tell you the cauldron in the frozen wilds makes this final boss seem easy 😭

I played this game so badly. I used up all my ammo because I thought the cannons didn't work when they ran out of ammunition (when it said 0 bombs on screen), I didn't realise they reload. So when I went to do the actual boss fight against Hades I had barely any ammo. I don't know how I completed the game but I did. Kind of glad I did it on easy because the end would've f'd me if I played on hard difficulty.

I was a bit disappointed that the final fight was just a super armored deathbringer (honestly the corruptors can be a lot more challenging and fun) , I thought for sure it was going to be one of the metal devils. But even so, it was a very good ending.

Obvious sequel hook is obvious. I wish they would have stopped when Aloy visited the garden. It was much more powerful then.

Extremely good story and an incredible game! The only thing that disappointed me was that the final boss. We had seen 3 machines - one were Corruptors(ACA-130-Scarab), The Khopesh(Deathbringer) The final boss should have been the huge tentacle dragon boss - Machine class "Horus"

This game's story seems biblically inspired. How the world ended(the great flood), Elisabet being the savior of humanity and dying for the "sins" of others(Jesus) and Aloy being chosen by Gaia(God) as the next savior(the second coming of Jesus).

Story: mediocre, combat: better then mediocre, visuals: great.

I think what bothered me most about the game was the lack of info on how the robots' biomass conversion systems worked. Going by what we see with the Kopesh/Deathbringer sending out what I guess is Corruption absorbing bio matter and bringing it back to it, it's likely a nanomachine swarm of some kind. Of course that begs the question of how the biomass was converted, how efficient it was, and whether or not biomass would be an efficient means for fueling such large machine as well as being a source of materials for fabricating more machines and their components. It would require some very advanced form of matter conversion to create the metals, composites, fuels, fluids, and ammunitions needed for all the robots to wage war and keep their inner systems working. From what the game explains, I believe the Horus was also the only machine capable of building more robots and theres an obvious lack of robot types to explain how ocean life would be fully destroyed (beyond atmospheric causes). Also if biomass is being used as fuel, is atmospheric oxygen being used to "burn" it? Scientifically, there are ALOT of questions to be raised about the plot of the end of the world in this game. Narrative wise, the game does paint a pretty horrifying apocalypse, that all really starts to become clear when you read the email to Faro talking about the pink-milkshake-like chum of endangered dolphins a Horus was consuming. That's pretty disturbing. Guerilla did a great job with it.
