Actually the graphical mode has better DOF, lights and reflections than the res mode so I hope this mode was udpated to 4k and 60 FPS.

Trust me when graphics start looking photo realistic, back to 30fps. Ps5 and Xbox series x are now starting to catch up to high end pcs

@@VVaitforme The ps5 updated version still has the same resolution as PS4 pro. Checkeredboard 4k. So of course the fps ain't far from the 3080. CB 4k vs Native 4k

Depends on well your display can handle 30fps. I find newer tvs really suck at displaying 30fps. Tvs from 2014 and lower had no issue with 30fps. Looked pretty smooth. Now playing on a newer tv from 2020 and the same games that looked smooth on my older tv were now intolerable to be played. I view it in the same vein as sdtvs for older gen games like snes. Newer tvs just aren't that good for those old games. And likewise now-a-days smart tvs, 4k tvs are just shitty for displaying 30fps. I had no issue with my 2014 40" 1080p60 samsung tv with going back and forth between 30fps on console and playing 60fps pc games on it. Now on my new 2020 55" Q70T 4k120 qled samsung tv, yeah its impossible to enjoy 30fps games on it. So conclusion is depends on what you play on. 30fps can be fine or it can be a nightmare.

@@wozzielfc401 in the good old times we didnt even know what is fps just enjoyed the games. It was just lagging or not lagging. Now everybody is a crying bitch about fps. Omg its not 60fps its unbearable.... pfff. Personally if something more or less is 30 I dont care, just enjoy the game if its good.

They should patch it for native 4k. I know checkerboard rendering 4k is good but it should be running native 4k on ps5.

Cara eu tava com um ps4 fat, usei ele por 7 bons anos. Depois mudei pro ps4 pro e peguei uma tela em 4k e meu amigo q diferença faz esse checkboard é surreal de bom

@@hugoyan9099 Eu tô tentando comprar uma TV 4K pra depois pegar o PS4 Pro principalmente pra jogar o TLU Parte 2 no PS4 Slim onde jogo atualmente eu fiquei abismado com nível de qualidade do God of War e do Uncharted 4 e outros também imagina se eu pegar o PS4 Pro.

Até porque a nova geração é muito cara por enquanto, e não tem muito jogo saindo pra PS5 e Xbox S/X a maioria dos jogos é Cross Gen então pra mim não vale muito pena comprar um novo console de nova geração por enquanto. Eu tenho muita coisa pra jogar no PS4 até pensar em nova geração.

Lo siento pero tengo q diferir. El juego esta muy lejos de parecer 4k nativos. Se ve en extremi borroso. Los juegos 4k nativos se ven increiblemente sharp. Checkboard rendering no es bueno y luce muy borroso. Se nota q solo tienes play

Seems like they didn't remove the motion blur, which is disappointing but even with it 60fps is far better.

@@johnathankrage83 can you imagine loading your game with vaseline to mask the 30 fps, but even then 60 fps looks much smoother? And also, these developers seem to not understand that 60hz on modern screens already means motion blur, or persistence blur, whatever you want to call it, and then you also have slower response times (unless you have an OLED). My point is, our screens are already providing a lot of motion blur due to technological limitations, why are they adding even more? Worse, WHY IS THERE NO OPTION? For fuck's sake. Some games have it, but there should be NONE without the option.

I want to platinum the game but motion blurr and no 60 fps mode on the ps4 pro makes me wait for a ps5. And atm they are not even in the shops LOL. Even if i try i cant get one Especially the disk version

Yeah. Checkerboard is reconstruction not upscaling. Checkerboard 4k always starts from half the pixels of 4k so saying from 4,147,200 pixels is the accurate way of saying it. Pragmatically 1920x2160 also works though it's technically not quite right. It's definitely not 2560x1440 though like el analista said.

@Ricard Pinzon Suller los 120 son en 1080 o 1440. En 2160 es casi imposible llegar a eso yo con suerte con una 2080ti en 4k todo en ultra en days gone llego a 70fps. A esos fps y menos calidad rinde más Para juegos competitivos. Si es modo historia lo ideal es 2160 4k a 60hz

@Ricard Pinzon Suller Yo tengo mi tele sony que va a 120hz. He jugado Nioh y Halo Master Chief Collection, y no he sentido una diferencia a los 60Hz. No sé porqué, pero con los 30 a 60Hz, la diferencia fue enorme para mí. De 60 a 120, ya no tanto :c

@@giovannidonda5928 those updates are native ps5 versions with extras other than FPS and res bumps. We’re never had to pay for a mere FPS update for ps4 game through BC on ps5.

I have tried the photo mode of both and horizon has some unbelievably textures.. Many of them I culd not see the pixels when i was the closer i could. I have no idea how it works on ps4. Rdr2 textures have less resolutions but i visually prefer it

@@laarval ohh yeah forgot about that !! Thats awesome aswell. Rather i feel games in general having higher quality material and textures are more beautiful than games with lower quality assets running at 4k or higher resolution.

I've got a PS5 and will get an SX once I can actually get one, is that FPS programme as good as it sounds? I've heard most the AC games including a fully patched Unity and Prey are 60fps, can't wait.

@@greengrugach1984 It's nice, but I find it disappointing that a bunch of games are actually sticking to the Xbox One S resolution to make sure that the frame rate reaches 60fps or 120fps, in which case, the "boost" is off by default when a game was enhanced for Xbox One X (Far Cry 5). So far, since PlayStation, at least in my opinion, has many more good first-party games in which get upgraded, it's been more exciting to jump back into those, but the boosted games and Series enhanced games are good. I just wish they could/would get games out faster, as well as boost not only frame rate, but also res for older games. When it comes to the boosted games, off the top of my head, the one I enjoyed the most was Alien Isolation. I have it on PS4, but since it's on Game Pass and runs at 60fps with the same image quality as the PS4 version, I'd rather play it on Xbox. Actually, I appreciate The Division 1 as it sticks to 4k but you get both 60fps and HDR, so it's basically on par with two.
