pointing out to keep the elbow bent really helped get me get this trick looking more stable for me. Thanks for the tip... now just to make it look as good as you do!
Love love the views in Canada! I visited the Banff area several years ago.. this video so makes me want to go again! And as always, love your tutorials Babz!
I loved you because you're an awesome hooper, I loved you more because you share what you know (your tutorial are amazing and they rock). Now I love you even more because you hike. You're awesome Babz Robinson and I hope you can come to Mexico to teach or give a presentation. I'm sure you have a looooot of fans down here. Love from Mexico city.

Love the song the video and yes it is so very beautiful. I am so lucky that I have been to Banff several times and climbed a few mountains. I would love the title to the song I want it for my next hooping session with my friend Carol!

Omygeez yes! I wish I could live with you for 19 days! I think that would be enough time for you to take me sight seeing! I envy your views. Oh yea thanks for this tutorial!
i have a feeling that we have very similar music collections. and the mountains are amazing. my midwest doesn't have mountains. lucky. p.s. awesome tutorial!
holy shit Babz!! the view was incredibllllleeeee, thanks for sharing such an mind blowing view! I really love this tutorial. I know how to do this iso and I keep watching it because of your hooping/view/music. I hope you get a hoopie for this!
Awesome video! What an awesome place to be!! I love your videos. I'm trying to learn more but feel like my homemade hoop is too big and weighs too much. Do you have any suggestions where to get a smaller lighter hoop? -and sizing and possibly collapsible hoop? You're help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
thanks for the tutorial it was awesome as always any chance you could do a tutorial for chest breaks in the inside of the hoop? I think they are called paddle breaks?
yay!!!!!! you may want to wait for good hooping weather, as its curently snowing and around freezing. However, come may... the shorts go on and the hoops come out! come on up!
I admire u dear! U are inpossible! Thats awesome they are people who want to remove such films!! I enjoy it! It have to be very hard and tough to go for this mountains, especially with hula hoop :O
I learned everything from years of trial and error and lots of f-ing up! I started hooping in 2003. and there is way more out there than i can do, there is no end to it so go easy on your self. Besides, gettin down with simple moves always trumps robot tricks.
I NEED A CHEST HOOPING TUTORIAL!!! PLEASE!!!! LOL Sorry didn't mean to yell. HAHAA You are awesome. If it wasn't for you I'd drive myself crazy trying to figure some of these moves out. I'm totally new, and have only been taking a bash at this for 2 weeks now. I'm getting the hang of everything I've tried and practicing is more like play but when it comes to chest hooping I SUCK!!! Do you have a tutorial for that or can you PLLLEEEEAAASE make one? Your teaching style is the bomb.
I looove it! has anyone told you lately how amazing you are?! this is just so beautiful! It must have been so awesome to hoop on a mountain top! are you in the Kootenays? that's not to far from me! Thanks for the rolling on the ground tip! I've been trying to get this one for awhile now and I just couldn't get it to work! I feel confident I'm going to master now :) your so helpful!
Oh. My. Goodness. So beautiful. The water and peaks are breathtaking. You & your hooping as well. I hope to one day look as graceful & at ease with my hoop as you do. I'm convinced by the way, when is your spare room free? ;)
hey Babz! me d luv u! Met you at Mo No some 8 or 9 years ago. I am taking home all your videos so I can practice. I think I might have went home with your blue groggy fun fur jacket if you ever lost one at mo no?
i was just wondering what type of hoop you have? i was assuming it was a poly pro, but what gives it that metallic glow? also, this is a beautiful video and youre amazing. :)
I want to come visit and climb mountains and hoop!! I have let my passion for rock climbing guide me through my life and it has allowed me to meet some of the best friends i know today, move to FL to help me find the perfect career for me allowing travel and helping people (disaster insurance) and center my life! Where are these mountains!!??
Your mountains are AMAZING!!! Also, I love your tutorials, you make them so fun. Though really, I'm super frustrated with this move. -_-' for some reason isolations just don't want me. I'll be all like, "Okay hoop, it's time to isolate" and my hoop's all like, "nah man, I think I'll knock over this glass of water though." :'(
Anna what size hoop do you use? I'm 5'1 & play with all different weights and sizes, but for isolations practices I like to use 33"-35" polypro... I use my 35"-36" the most for on body. I also have some 38"-40" that I sometimes use when trying to learn new on body tricks since they travel slower giving more time for you to react. Basically smaller for iso's, but not too small that you can't hoop with (unless your advanced) hope that helps
Hey Babz. Is trick possible with a larger beginner hoop too? Mine is so much bigger than yours and it seems hard but maybe i just got to praxis more...?
This looks similar to the inside out whip tutorial you have, except in front of the body. Which would you recommend starting working on first/ is a bit easier to master? Thanks!
Between the Hula hooping, Ice skating, Rock climbing and kombucha making (which Im sure thats just the start) YOU are one badass chick Its a pleasure to watch you always and I hope to get to know you better! Ill be messaging you soon. Oh do you give lessons? Id almost come to canada just to meet you and get some tips :)
Hello! I just learn how to do the regular hoop isolation but I still don't know what kind of hoops are better for this trick, my hoop is a toy water hoop that my boyfriend got for me as a gift when I just started (2 months ago) and that's what I'd been using, it works well for some tricks but when doing isolations it tends to fall to the side and I think it is too slow for chest hooping. Would you tell me which kind of hoop works with most or all of the tricks you do? Thanks! :)
