HORNBY R3190 BR THOMPSON CLASS L1 2-6-4T
A somewhat overlooked and forgotten engine from Keith’s collection, this L1 class is a memory of his youth in the Leeds area that has been weathered and renumbered by GC Weathering.
Sound equipment is a Zimo MX648 hard-wired with a 15x11x12 sugarcube speaker in the bunker/cab.

Great video , really brings out the smart lines and character of Edward Thompsons large tank locomotives.

Looks to be running beautifully as well as realistic appearance and top notch sound. Was any work needed to prevent the usual problem of the front pony truck derailing?

Many thanks John. On this one the front pony has always worked properly. (This maybe due to the fact that it is looser than usual).

Exactly how I remember them at King Cross, great sounds and weathering Reinhard we don't have access to professional weathering here you have to do it yourself ! Thanks for showing us, All the best Stewart
