A day alone on the mountain of Hornelen in Bremanger, Norway. The mountain are 860 meters above sea level, and you start close to sea level. So it’s a long trip of around 4-5 hours up and 3-4 hours walking down a trail.
This Via Ferrata is graded E-F. Most of the way up are walking and easy climbing, but when you are around 800 meters up you face this 45 meter vertical/slightly overhanging wall which makes for the higher grading of this Via Ferrata. Crucially you will have several benches on the mountain wall on the way up to rest and enjoy the view :-)
