A lot of drivers let he go because it isn't worth it, and the this is one of the few times it has bit only Max when someone has forced him to make the hard pass. A TRUE champion endures challenges and thrives on them to be better. Obviously Verstappen was coddled and never faced significant challenges; they were 'massaged' by his family. Its sad, these days, true "professional" athletes have a responsibility to set the bar for upcoming children and lead by example. Verstappen is NOT a true champion; gauging by his consistent behaviors- i don't know if its possible for his behaviour to turn the corner; "You cant teach pigs to sing"....if F1 FIA wants to be respected, the need to impose punishment/fines for this kind of behaviour as it inevitably becomes public.

As requested, a personal set of observations: MV continues to behave like an entitled child (AKA Jos Verstappen) blaming others for collisions and such. The general impression is that MV drives with the apparent attitude which is basically ". . .get out of my way or we're both going to crash. . ." Which not a unique personal observation in this case. He has become accustomed (through FIA Steward encouragement?) to getting away with that approach by the Stewards decisions as pointed out by the McLaren Principal a week ago, and he got away with it in this most recent instance. MV and drivers in general need to be cured of this approach and the FIA Stewards & organization could learn from the SCCA GCR (General Competition Rules) which include specific language dealing with these situations, along with specific guidelines, essentially setting out that '. . .the overtaking driver has he primary responsibility for accomplishing a safe pass . . . and the overtaken driver has a responsibility to provide room. . .' The Stewards decision at the previous GP did include the observation that the driver being overtaken (MV) ". . .was primarily. . ." responsible -- and that facet was also considered those standards the most recent decision as well (by the notation that the overtaken driver was in an established trajectory). However, no corrective action resulted where MV's behavior was concerned this weekend or the previous one. The SCCA standards would appear to have been applicable to the collisions involving MV at Hungary and the previous GP with Mclaren (in both cases Verstappen's actions (most recently his lock-up and arrival at the collision locked up and out of control while attempting a dive bomb pass) appear to be responsible for those outcomes based on the Stewards write-ups -- the most recent of which also observed that that there may have been more the overtaken driver could have accomplished, but without any comment as to what that may have been the expected action. Let's hope everyone can learn from MV-related issues and include those guidelines in the regulations and judicial processes -- there's more than enough video to work with.

we all need to learn to show a bit more tolerancy towards eachother, especially nowadays.the whole world looks at them, and when these things happen we all have a strong opinion about it. both men know eachother well, and have learnt to deal with one another. lewis has the advantage of his age, while max is still young and more hot headed when things don't go a certain way. he has grown up so much these couple of years, but that was easy because everything was working in his favor. the situation he is in now is new to him and frustration build-up is never a good thing in these situations i think. i saw the fire in his eyes post race, it wasn't a pretty sight. knowing him a little, he NEVER shows this much fire when being angry, so we can count on it that something is/was really very very wrong. tensions are high, and something needs to change, fast. but lets not play the blame-game, people. we collectivly are too smart for that, lets not stoop down to that level, please. and i do mean WE because i myself have got a LOT to learn as well, still and i'm 45. so, let's all stand behind all the drivers, so that they can continue to give us great racing, without too much controversy and anger. it bears no merit and holds no added value. (i apologize for my bad grammar, i'm Dutch, but i'm doing the best i can)

Although Max took it a little too far, he’s without a doubt a competitive champion. Wish more crews were just as vocal as Max, then no f1 fans can cry and bash one guy.

I think max coming through when he did, in a car that couldn’t challenge Mercedes and couldn’t be challenged from the teams behind, as such no one had to race him hard as there was nothing to be gained for anyone getting involved with him, by the time he was in a competitive car his driving style was cemented so crashes are inevitable. Lewis proved to be the same against nico and max later. He also has jos as a dad and the team around him have nurtured this version of max. Schumacher was far far worse and was rewarded with titles and all kinds not much has changed.

Horner can have his "opinion" and we know what we heard. WE dont need it to be "explained" or gaslighted into something different. Many people can put themselves in the place of the race engineer, or even the stewards, and draw their own conclusions. The fact is Hamilton took the corner and went around as a driver would. The rest is down to Max and his driving style. Just as the conversation on the radio is the style of Max.

LH44 has won the championship(s) with two different teams, so far. Let's see who has the attitude to even come close to his achievements. I'm a big fan of MSC Senior and Senna... but LH44 could be the brightest light in the F1 firmament for a long time because of his consistency and humility. He's the only one to survive and win at the same time. Good luck to his opponents. His slogan “Still I Rise” is most probably not an understatement.

The basis of his frustration is that RBR does not respond adequately to his concerns and warnings, that RBR will not become a World Cup if they continue to simmer in an out-of-control car that has both understeer and oversteer. The upgrade effects lag behind while the competition takes more steps forward. If strategy mistakes are also made, it is an accumulation of frustrations due to powerlessness. Max is straightforward, cannot stand dishonesty and takes it out in the media, which is not smart, but a cry of desperation.

The system is bad and needs to have stricter regulations
