Expectant mother Alisha Bromfield, 21, was toasting the bride and groom at an outdoor wedding just hours before she was found murdered in Wisconsin in 2012. More: bit.ly/38Hw0DT
When a man admits to every single detail of 2 murders, rape, and necrophelia ON TAPE, and a jury can't decide on a verdict, thats a clear indication that our justice system is completely broken. That is not a practical way to handle crime whatsoever. This is mind blowing.
@@korab.23 Well, there *can* be doubt of guilt after a confession. It's not all that hard to exhaust someone into confessing anything, and it happens all the time. The failure here though is that the confession is detailed and matches up to the physical evidence of the killing, and the jury still hems and haws about it.
How can you not immediately feel the woman's pain yourself? Must have never experienced anything bad with a man.. But that's no explanation either. Idk about you but it always hurts me deeply when another woman is hurt you can almost feel it yourself
I can only think that these jurors could not believe someone could do something so evil and perverted unless they were out of their mind drunk. Unfortunately, there are individuals who are evil and perverted like this creep. I think he fantasized about doing something like this to a young woman for a long time.
I was also thinking about that. Her family doesn't have to feel bad about that because he would have looked for another opportunity. He was monitoring her, stalking her. Alisha being a good person she never believed that he would do such a horrific thing but I can see this now..whenever we feel uncomfortable or we feel something is wrong... we have to follow our gut because is true and just run away... as far as possible.

“Just tell him no, what’s the worst that could happen?” This is a story of why saying ‘no’ is just not enough for many, many women who have been killed, assaulted, etc. It is an extremely sad thing when a stupid rejected little boy decides to take out his feelings and take 2 lives in the process.

How can she even go to sleep not being scared of a stranger she’s rejected? Go to a hotel, take a bus and go back home, pretend that everything is fine and then break things off when you’re safe. So incredibly sad.
The guy violently strangled then raped a pregnant woman admitted it but still it took two trials to found him guilty ! How are they expecting women to believe they can get any justice when you hear a story like that !
It was partly because the DA wasn’t prepped enough for the voluntary intox defense. And Cooper was a manipulator and went on the stand at both trials. Second trial the DA had witnesses come up to testify on coopers drunkness that night whereas at the first one, he didn’t. I personally didn’t know about that defense until I was on the way to Wisconsin for the first trial (Alisha was my friend). Idk when the DAs office got word of it. I thought it was gonna be insanity up until that point

This gives me the creeps because its so eerily similar to my situation years ago. My former boss was a lot like this POS. I was very pregnant and married. He constantly tried getting me alone and did, but his coworker ended up intervening thank God. He even went to HR about him as a witness on my behalf; but it wasn't taken seriously. Nope...and it was due to the fact he made the company money. They treated me like. crap, then I basically got fired after refusing to go on a work trip alone with him where we would have had to share a ride, a room and everything. Obviously I was like f*** no not after that incident. He ended up attacking and raping my replacement who did go on that trip. Tried warning her and she was kind of a d*ck about it, as tho I were just envious she was my replacement. I wasn't, but she thought so. I told her that HR would do the exact same thing if he did it to her...but she was real nasty to me, about me, etc. Wouldn't listen. I mean I feel bad for her, but it's not like I didn't try to warn her about it. He eventually got fired ONLY after violently attacking/raping his ex wife in the presence of their young son and nearly killing her I guess. Yep. The HR/CEO did also get fired and arrested for fraud, extortion, mistreating/underpaying employees, denying valid injury claims, safety violations, firing employees without cause, falsifying records, etc. Its just unfortunate that so many had to put up with that pig among others at that workplace. I'm just sick of men (sometimes even women) who think they own other people and have authority to do this kind of sick sh*t to other people. But almost worse than that are all the other people who sweep it under the rug or insulate these predatory pukes
I am glad that you were able to escape being assaulted by that monster. And you cannot feel bad for that woman that you warned. Some women are determined to learn things the hard way when it comes to men I have noticed. There is a YT channel I watch sometimes, which often features women murdered by their partners. 9 times out of 10, the man has a history of violence, whether against women or others and in some cases they were incarcerated and still even knowing all of that women get with them anyways. I remember a case where a woman was assaulted during her marriage and even after they divorced he was harassing her, so much so that she ended up getting a restraining order against her ex-husband. The ex-husband's new partner found this out and STILL she married him, even telling her mother at one point "that was in the past, he has changed". Well, after making her life a living hell for several years with his abuse, he ended up murdering her when she finally decided to leave. Some women are slow AF and quick to disregard/minimize other women's experiences AND glaring red flags, so there is only so much you can do for them.
Not only this, imagine that drunk driver trying to say “I was too drunk to know what I was doing” as a defense. Saying you’re too drunk to do ANYTHING is not a defense.
I don't get how being too drunk was ever an excuse to make you not guilty of a crime? When did that become a thing? You got too drunk, so what? How does that make it not your fault? Pure insanity.
He planned it prior to getting drunk with the tie downs. If only his first victim had him charged this woman may still be here. I’m not trying to blame the first victim and I hope it does not come off that way. It’s just sad, the whole thing. He could have stopped at any moment and I’m sure they would have helped him find the care he needed for this urge he had to attack women but he was set to “have her”. After he killed her and was like “well I might as well see her naked” I knew this guy was a future serial killer. I believe his remorse is knowing what others will think of him not because he killed that young mother. Real men have a inherent need to protect women and young kids, that’s why guys that harm pregnant women and kids are at risk in prison.

But, with that said, this is not new. And here is the thing. They NEVER WERE DATING. She did all of this over fear of loosing her job. Never understood other males who rage after being rejected.. there’s so many fish in the sea.. you can even pay for relationships/relations.. stop abusing women Bc your pride is hurt.
@@Skitdora2010 I think they could, shoot you got one before, just repeat the steps. Instead you in jail with nothing but guys for 30 years. I'm sorry it's not that serious to me.
Bro..its hard out here, there are guys who NEVER get romantic interest...if your not young handsome rich or famous have a big penis.. or all the above..your looking at years of frustration...not an excuse for murder though..but i had to balance the scales.
To let a person not be found guilty for a murder because he was drunk, is the same as someone drunk driving and killing someone. So that person won't get charged either because he was drunk and didn't know he was behind the wheel of their vehicle. That was one of the worse BS crap I've ever heard
Most of the murder cases I’ve seen either by spouse or partner, there was always a previous spouse or girlfriend who started to press charges then dropped it. Dear ladies, if you ever need to file charges against a man, please don’t change your mind out of pity; you would be sparing another woman’s life in the future. Please don’t stop the process, it’s a moral responsibility to make sure that evil is stopped in its tracks. It’s not about you being heartless, it’s that you can’t tell what utter horror this person will go on to commit.
No I personally don't believe that. He even said they where casually dating and I believe it because most women wouldn't go alone with their boss and stay alone in his hotel room if it was all platonic... If they where just friends they would say screw my job... I'm not going alone with him anywhere
You are absolutely right. It’s a hard thing to admit when you depend on your job but your safety is way more important. I stoped caring about getting fired and quitting cuz jobs don’t care about your well being. I’ve quit jobs with no money and about to get evicted cuz of unsafe situations. I can’t feed my kids if I’m dead so safety is always first. No job is going to have full power like that.
@@Naturefan354 I have to agree...in the beginning, her mother said she didn’t take life seriously , unfortunately ...at 21, despite being pregnant, she probably wasn’t completely mature. I say that with no disrespect towards anyone. As an older adult, I could have foreseen danger being alone with such an aggressor, given his history, and wouldn’t go, and would have reported him then , if not before, given his history of harassment and aggression....but someone younger may not have .
@@aquablue1252 Of course I agree. And at 21 my mentality was totally different than it is now so I totally understand. But she had her parents support and I'm positive if she really felt any danger from her boss or propositioned for her job she would have just quit or took it too HR. She was graduating from college soon and could have found a new career once graduated
@A Z I hope you know what to assume means. How did he "get through to her"? I doubt all he did was tie her up and then tell her a story. I ask because I suspect there may be more victims. He has an M.O.
It didn't "happen really fast." This dude knew he was going to do this before it happened. As a husband and father of two girls, it disgusts me that anyone could do this to another human being.
She was such a beautiful soul. The way her mother talks about just made me feel she must be an amazing person. Stay strong to all her loved..always watch over them Alisha. May your soul be at peace. You will always be remembered. May your loved ones heal. Wishing for the best 🥺❤️
I was dragged out of the bathroom and raped by my supervisor as I worked as a nurse. He's only serving 7 1/2 yrs minimum 9 yrs max. Many ppl asked me afterwards why I didn't fight him. He's military trained and the size difference was pretty significant. I'm thankful to be alive because it could have been so different. The police believed this wasnt his first time. Other female coworkers spoke up afterwards about the sexual harassment they endured while he was there. Had it been taken seriously i would not have had to endure that. However i pressed charges and spoke up even in fear. My condolences to her Family this is beyond heartbreaking 💔. May the Lord continue to grant them peace and strength.
You noticed that too! "they're gonna flip" Understatement of the year. I went thru a traumatic experience a few years ago but I know if something happened to my kid..it would be SO much worse..
@@SlimKeith11 How could you NOT notice?! I thought it was such an absurd comment, I almost expected someone to smack him on the back of the head! I just don't understand the insanity of some people, and why they're aloud to walk the same streets as you and I.
Classic emotionless response of a sociopath. They don't even know how to express how someone would feel if they found out their family members were murdered.
The mom actually told her to quit the job and she'll help her with the baby, even one of her friends even invited her to work at a store she was working at, but she refused, everyone warned her, I saw this story on ID ... I'm glad she got justice for her though
How could 2 jurors not have found him guilty... He relayed, in detail, what he had done to that poor girl and her unborn child, so he wasn't that drunk... And anyway being drunk is not a excuse to murder someone. Thoughts and prayers are with her family, its amazing they went on and fought to get the law changed in 32 states having gone through 2 trials and grieving for there daughter and unborn grandaughter.
Solo 7 because those 2 jurors must've felt the defense did a decent job of illustrating mitigating circumstances, i.e. Intoxication, confession, remorse, etc. I say that as an attorney, not a human being.
I'm guessing that those two jurors were drunks themselves and did lots of stupid stuff when they were drinking alcohol. And so they had more sympathy for other people who have a drinking problem. Which is why they had a bias thinking.
There's a very strange type of woman who takes sexual interest in incarcerated murderers. There have been a lot of documentaries and studies on the psychology of serial killers, but I'd be interested what makes these women tick. How can they look at a man in jail for brutally violent acts and thing "OMG he's soooo cute"? Truly bizarre
daughter wanted to leave - mom guiltified her into staying - concerned about the walk down the isle - then says if only the girlfriend had reported the abuse ...
She was employed and her supervisor 'took an interest' in her. Then, she is afraid of losing her job. This is sexual harrassment to the 'inth degree'. Too bad no one counseled her about this issue. He should have been fired.
it’s romantic .. the idea that sexual harassment will disappear because it’s illegal. highly unlikely, but romantic nonetheless. one can be almost certain she was aware of anti-harassment policies. this garbage takes place on every socioeconomic level, to all genders. someone stated earlier, it’s about power. how many of us watching this have been the recipient of unwanted attention at work? how many of us reported it? how many of us were too afraid of what repercussions we’d face if we spoke up?
same happened to me. it happens to people every fcking day and its excruciatingly horrific. puts you in the worst situation imaginable. My boss knew I was a single mother who had been homeless and finally got on my feet after my husband died, he knew I couldn't afford to lose my job and took advantage of that. ugh.
@@weedywendy4266 romantic? not in most situations lol its usually an extremely older male going after an extremely young girl. or it has been that way everytime with me. When its unwanted its not romantic its devastating, gross and dreadful. It is romantic when you're also interested in the other person but when you aren't its one of the most difficult things to go thru,
@@nomdeplume2213 hello there. there’s a whole bunch written after the first two words. please do not misinterpret my meaning.. by no means do i feel harassment is anything other that vile.
Yes. Totally inappropriate, bullying behaviour. He must have really intimidated her for her to go away with him... Poor girl, someone should have intervened.
