You see a newspaper ad about a house-sitting job. Since you're short on money, you decide to sign up. What awaits you...
Did I mention that the house you'll be staying at has the latest home automation systems of the 80s!? Now you know! Simply clap twice in any room in the house to toggle the lights on/off. We sure are lucky that there are no entities around that can take advantage of this.
Immerse yourself in the environment with amnesia-like physical interactions, volumetric audio and PS1 style graphics.
It ain't much, but it's honest work.
I suggest you don't go snooping around too much, it's for your own good.

LOL, with some games using the PC microphone, maybe you can add the option that the player needs to Clap to trigger the Clapping mechanic, as a funny novelty to the game.

You nailed the creepiness factor with that scare in the end. I like the way the 'creature' was behaving and overall it looks as if you had more experience, despite it being your first game. Kudos. I really wanna see what else you got in store.

I remember the Clap on, Clap off commercials when I was a kid. My mother bought a new lamp around that time and my father thought it was one from the commercial and started clapping his hands to try to turn it on. Unfortunately for dad, it was indeed, just a regular lamp.

Oh my God. The pizza from that awful teen's party from a few months ago is still sitting on the table! Is there some way we can warn the house sitter NOT to answer the phone???! Honestly, very good. I think it does a very good job balancing creepy and funny, taking a kind of absurd concept and pushing on the funny elements without giving up the feel of threat.
