Warning I just start saying a lot of things in this comment, you can ignore me if you want, but i ask you to read till the end of the () at least, is ok if you don't want to tho Dude You got a peak into the rabbit hole There's no way out 😂 Your fanbase is gonna ask you to play all the games and then some fangames (which I'll do too, because there are some PEAK QUALITY fangames, like five nights at candy's, one night at flumpty's, popgoes, jolly's final nights is pretty ok, there are 3 five nights at candy's games, the fourth is on the way, same with jolly's, popgoes has 1 main game and 1 side game, the sequel of the main one is on the making, and final nights has 4 games, the first is kinda bland, the second and third are pretty ok, and idk about the fourth) theres also this clone in terms of mechanics, five nights at sonic's, hear me out, five nights at sonic's, NOT five nights at sonic's reimagined/remastered whatever, that's another series, fnas (five nights at sonic's) has 6 games, that goes from fnas 1 to 5 and then it's own version of the ultimate custom night Fnas 1 and 2 is a copy of fnaf 1 and 2 but with mario (yes, mario) and sonic characters, fnas 3 is an upgraded version of fnaf 3 with more threats and mechanics Fnas 4 is very similar to fnaf 4, but with another context and a hiding mechanic instead of closing doors Fnas 5 is a completely original game, i think is because it came out before sister location (fnaf 5) And the ultimate custom night of fnas is called five nights at sonic's maniac mania And is pretty cool Sorry for saying all this stuff
Oh and About fnas (five nights at sonic's) It can be kinda difficult to find I know it's creator is making a remastered version of the games But if you find the og versions to play them Well, the first 2 had pretty low quality in terms of programming And everything was made in paint XD But the designs get better over time and get very good up to maniac mania So instead of playing the 5 games you can search up the plot of the games (almost nobody does this but i think it could be a neat video reaction) and then play maniac mania Sorry if I'm so stubborn and talk too much about fnas Im kinda bias towards it because it was one of the first fangames of fnaf i met, alongside five nights at candy's, and I just love them 😂
Oh and fnasR (five nights at sonic's remastered/reimagined, dunno which) That's another series of fangames It uses only sonic characters and 3d models So, maybe you can check it up too But fnas is more known and weirdly more loved It even has it's own fangames (im not kidding, theres fangames of fangames, there's sonic coffees, which is a fangame of fnas or a fangame of a fangame of fnas, dunno which of the two, oh, and sonic coffees is pretty cool, too)
Just so you know, 99% of the FNAF lore is extremely hidden in the games. You pretty much won't find out anything on your own without the bigger picture of all the games.
@@elijahsmall5873 his has the most backed up evidence and nobody has debunked his theory because there is almost no evidence behind it, there is some evidence but there is counter evidence againt that said counter evidence. meaning that his theory is the most true theory we have at the moment
40:02 This is honestly in my opinion, the scariest sound in this entire franchise. This series is known for having fantastic sound design, but the first time I heard that scream, it legitimately filled me with so much dread and sent a chill down my spine. Especially since you know the context: An innocent girl swallowed up by a monster made by her own father. Chilling.
The final part (post purple guy) is definitely the most confusing and controversial part of the timeline, so just know that not everything in it might not be true or likely with the evidence we have now.
I played fnaf a long time ago. I was sitting with my friends and talking about the bite of 87, golden freddy, 2 purple guys. It was the best time of my life. Now, watching you learn about this universe drops me in huge nostalgia. Thank you, man, that's why I love your content!
The original Bonnie suit would be the suit William used before the Spring lock suit that turned him into Springtrap It's the version of him we can find in the VR game Help Wanted 1 (Have to add the 1 as there will be another VR game)
I swear to God Everytime I see the William and Henry working together I remember Walter white and Jesse pinkman. Henry being Walter and Afton being Jesse
This is cool!! Now, I want to buy the Encyclopedia now! This video brings a lot of things I didn''t knew about the franchise! Matpat is amazing! I would love to see you play the first game, Blaze! (and maybe the second one? )
I'm gonna try and some notes of certain parts. It's a lot but honestly you're gonna need context, a lot of this is speculation on his part. 9:29 Chico's party world is cannon however we were never told almost anything about it. I do mostly agree with that part of the theory though. 14:04 They probably are scary because of how the game depicted them though if we were to see them in the daytime like many SFM animators depict you can definitely see how they'd be cute. 28:49 The reason why William kills is difficult to pinpoint down for various reasons. Do to all the difficult to decipher lore we don't actually know who dies 1st. William's son, William's daughter or Henry's daughter each could have been the 1st and depending on order it greatly affects why William does what he does. My personal favorite is this version of William however the other others are valid. 47:07 He says all that but he's assuming that William isn't just straight up a crazy person. 33:47 The voice lines are from "ultimate custom night" there's a compilation of all the voice lines and it's worth reacting too. 35:33 It's unknown if It was actually William the police thought did it. The only evidence just said they arrested someone and then let them go. 36:56 He said daytime guard. I'm not even sure why he thinks William was a guard. 41:31 I'm just gonna say it this entire section is just wrong for one simple reason William's already dead. Before the events of Fnaf 1(1993) "Phone guy" records that the safe room was sealed and since William was sealed in that safe room and since "Phone guy" dies before Fnaf 1 It's obvious that the events can't occur in the order Mat describes. 44:10 He even uses the very phone call I'm talking about! Because of this fact and that Mat uses it quite heavily, a lot of the next part and videos that rely on the is very wrong. 46:28 The reason why we think we're playing as the crying child is that supernatural events occur that can only be explained though hauntings or that he's dying in a hospital bed and the illusion disks don't fit with the supernatural. 46:50 Ignore that part about Mangle and Funtime Foxy it's so dumb. They're both pink foxes so they have to be the same? Makes no sense for more reasons like the fact that Mangle has an end of skeleton and Funtime Foxy is made of wires. I won't get in too much I feel there's more evidence to suggest that sister location takes place between 4 and 2 rather than 1 and 3. Well I'd kinda like this timeline in a lot of ways there's so many things wrong that the last video you watch might be more accurate. I mean when you watch the next video you'll see that part of this video he just straight up contradicts and takes insane leaps and bounds of logic I don't think anyone else has tried.
Hello! I'd like to tell you this, just in case you were unaware: MatPat's Ultimate Timeline complicates some things and sometimes even just makes up information just to fit his "aaaugh so many robot kids!" idea into the story. It's still an alright timeline, but it's not entirely the "true story." I'm not against the reaction, but please take the information in these videos with a grain of salt. Again, if I could recommend a FNAF Lore series, it'd have to be The Ooftroop's "Undeniably Canon FNAF Timeline" videos. They're funny, well-explained, and a mix of accurate details and The Ooftroop's own interpretation. Regardless, it's VERY fun to see you get into FNAF. ^^
Apologies for any bizarre wording in my comment. I did not mean to come across as if I were being insulting to those who supported Matt's timeline. I simply wanted to issue a warning, akin to "despite sources being cited, some of the information in this timeline can be made up of very large stretches, and sometimes is outright false." Hence, "take the information in these videos with a grain of salt." I just want to make sure people aren't taking MatPat's word 100% as fact. (Granted, I don't think that's what's going on in this specific instance, but no one can be 100% sure.) From what I've seen, a lot of people who react to this series miss the "current working timeline" comment at the beginning, so I want to make sure there's some sort of warning just in case.
I have to say this. As an impatient being on this wonderful earth, I appreciate WHOLEHEARTEDLY that the next video you posted is the other half of this timeline. I’m so use to waiting for the rest of an reaction on most reaction channels. So in conclusion, I’m subscribed to you know. ✌🏽
You should react to all the Ultimate Custom Night voice lines! Not only is there hidden lore, it gives you an approximate on what the characters sound like!
I like how so many RU-vidrs are watching the complete fnaf timeline despite the fact that Matpat makes a “final” fnaf timeline every single year and it always is slightly different
I kinda hate that people keep recommending this to people. Especially to newbies of the lore. First of all, it’s huge and it assumes that you have a basic understanding of the Fnaf lore. It’s filled with a lot of biases, inaccuracies, and things that aren’t confirmed. The fact that it’s being told as a story makes it so that Matt includes a lot of details that are just there for the story element and aren’t necessarily apart of the actual lore. There are so many other amazing Fnaf lore theorists out there besides Matpat. Even some with better timelines/explanations of the greater story in my personal opinion. Matt isn’t the only one. Some people who I think have great Fnaf story explained type videos that are worth checking out are the ones by Wendigoon, Brussel, and maybe even Hyperdroid. 🙂
@@elijahsmall5873 I'll argue that wendigoons video on fnaf is on the same level of incorrect as matpats timeline, but Hyperdroid is based beyond belief because hes pro-talesgames
and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a just a game just and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a game theory and remember it’s just a game theory remember it’s just a just a game just a game theory
Yeah lol, i dont know how this guy still so popular, he basically made a whole fanfiction at the start of this video, here in Brazil we have a youtuber named "Core" that did a spetacular job doing a 3 hour video about the entire lore, not using fanfiction and not beiing afraind of saying "We dont know this yet" MatPat kinda of seem afraid to say there are part of the story that hasn't been told yet
@@poilaroideng521You do know he makes videos on other things right? Not just FNAF. Cause if you did you would know he is popular for lots of other things. Also I don't know if you even watch his videos, but he quite literally says lots of times that everything he says is just a theory and that he could be wrong about everything. As well as saying he's not sure of things.💀
You know how Gregory is the crying child and miss afton is the owner of the secro brecht then that mean the crying child name is Gregory because why whad miss afton give name her rodot son a fack name she wood whant her robot son to have a real name so the crying child name is Gregory
In the game Ultimate Custom Night, every animatronic that kills you has various voice line that plays in the GAME OVER screen, so if you want, you could make a video reacting to "All the Ultimate Custom Night voice lines"!
**Most of them have voice lines, not all of them. They also got new lines in Special Delivery (as well a few of those characters that didn't get lines in UCN).
If you like the voicelines, there's a bunch more. There's a video that compiled them. They're from UCN. There are also some from Special Delivery. I really like Freddy's voicelines from that.
If you play the Fnaf games I hope you go up to Pizza Simulator. It works as a really good ending to the first “set” of games. It’s the 6th main Fnaf game and it’s pretty good too.
You can't really say that Afton stole the bear idea since I doubt that a random local dancing bear show from the 30s has any sort of copyright protection. His creations certainly have one.
There’s also a big difference between looking at a real bear and deciding “hey I’ll make a bipedal bear mascot come to life as a spiritual successor to this experience that i loved!” and looking at a bipedal bear mascot and thinking “I’ll make another one to cash in on the popularity!”
@@JamUsagiyeah, this would be like saying Walt Disney “stole” the idea from a carousel in the middle of a park. He did steal it though, just not from the story version of his inspiration. He visited Efteling whether the company will admit it anymore or not. He visited the Netherlands with his family and it’s hard to believe they DIDNT go to theme park known there.
2:44 Fazgoo is a concept from one of the Frights stories. Basically a cloning slime. 5:29 Be warned this part of MatPat's Ultimate timeline is kind of "fanfiction", speculation on his part in trying to create a realistic backstory to explain Afton's later behaviors (other than being a sociopath or psychopath) where we will probably never get a confirmed canon backstory, so take it with a grain of salt. 25:22 It's said the springlock suits can malfunction from either moisture or erratic movements, so it could have been either the Crying Child's tears or wriggling or both. I don't know how to really explain how moisture does it, but the springlock mechanisms for the endoskeleton in the suit are extremely sensitive and can come undone really easily if one makes any jarring movements. 28:53 Eh..I personally believe there was something mentally off about Afton to begin with. He's described in the books as having been the jovial one between him and Henry when they were running the restaurants. When you have someone who acts like they love kids and then later starts killing them like it's nothing (even like he's doing them a favor), there's definitely a psychological factor. (And I really look forward to seeing Matthew Lillard bring both sides of Afton together in the movie) 42:05 Welcome to the concept of Remnant. It's not so much the metal itself, but the residual emotional energy from the victim that had bound to the metal due to how strong the victim's last emotion was. This is the franchise's supernatural pseudo-science, and is the explanation given for what binds the souls of the children and Afton to the animatronics.
@@syweb2 the one thing i don't understand or didn't hear mentioned, if the freadbear suit was in an animatronic mode how would be springs be activated when they are already released, meaning they would not be activated even if child was moving rapidly.
@@robotko_ruslan You make a very good point, and I for one think that based on the given evidence, it _isn't_ a springlock failure. It might have been intended to be one when written, but with the concepts we have, it isn't.
Personally I believe that William Afton did have some sort of motive besides being mentally unstable. After all, people with mental illnesses are more often a danger to themselves than to those around them. Perhaps mental illness was a part of the reason but I don’t think it was the main reason. Besides, if William was just going on random mindless child killing sprees for no reason, why didn’t start with his own kids? The fact that he’s never directly murdered one of his own children (at least as far as we know) and the fact that he would always hide the bodies suggests that he was aware and thinking clearly while committing the murders, so he must’ve had some of motive or else he would never had killed anyone. I’m not a psychologist tho so what do I know? Also the trope of people with mental illnesses killing people just because they are “crazy” seems kind of outdated and ableist imo.
When you feel you've gotten a hang of the lore, I'd reccomend "An Undeniably Canon Five Nights At Freddy's Timeline" by the ooftroop. I've only seen the first part personally, but it's quite entertaining if you're familiar with the lore. It's a comedy series, so it's not just a third video series attempting to explain the timeline
Congrats on the new space. This really is like kingdom hearts. In KH you don't see the lore much aside from the beginning and end. In FNAF, it's hidden in the secrets and minigames usually. Either way, you gotta dog deep across over 10 games to really put together a timeline. Just like in KH the main arc (the xehanort arc?) ended and we're seeing the next major overarching story. Either way thInge go really deep and you can't discount even the throwaway games. I can definitely see you enjoying FNAF seeing how oddly similar it is to KH. I will say I'd love to see you play FNAF1. I'll leave you with a hint if you do, mess around with the bricks on the walls. Remember some notable years in the game and maybe you'll find a fun secret. (Also try to boop noses.) I'll also say if you like this, I'd love to see you learn about Kirby lore. That stuff goes DEEEP and gets weirdly horrific Love the new direction. You keep doing what makes you happy. Love ya homie
16:01 haha dont be 😂 canonically, he's a very sadistic and evil person. But alas, i cant wait to see your FNAF journey haha. Also be warned that not everything matpat is saying is correct to the canon ( ex. aftons backstory ). Though, I'm aware of how hard it is to put the fnaf timeline in a cohesive manner. But its just something to keep in mind! Its a theory channel so im sure your aware of that haha Its amazing to see how i found you through danganronpa and now your exploring fnaf! auper excited :)
The weird thing about Circus Baby is that she is an ice cream machine, and she inflates balloons. How does Baby do those things? Where did William fit those features?
1. Michael deserved what he got because the way he really just experience a more refined version of what he did to his brother is just fair treatment 2. The main thing that got me is why was the mom not doing any parenting whatsoever she seemingly did not have a job after and should not be the only one raising them damn kids He should have been able to put them cameras down with that teddy bear and call it a day because I'm in really has a job while this job was woman sits at home and does nothing like woman up
fredbear biting evan was not a springlock failure, as proven by someone working on irl springlock suits ( technofur) it was just a bite, fredbears jaws probably had hydraulics which made its bite lethal
After you finish the timline video, if you want a more funny (but definitly not accurate) fnaf video id recommend both of the currently out undeniably cannon fnaf timelines by the ooftroop. Its great stuff
You should actually react to all the voice lines from FNAF Ultimate Custom Night and FNAF AR: Special Delivery. It'll give you a sense of the characters' personality and backstory.
when you are done with the first four games (the core of the lore) then you should play Help wanted in VR, so that you will be mostly up to date on the current lore.
Great reaction, after you have watched the whole FNaF timeline I would recommend you to watch the FNaF VHS Tapes by Squimpus Mcgrimpus and then VHS tapes by MemeBear and Battington. The VHS tapes are the scariest side of the FNaF community.
I know that it seems like you play William Afton in the second game with the toy animatronics, but MatPat said he played the DAY-shift security guard. You are the NIGHT-security guard. You don't get to see him in that game in person. Sorry. The only game I can think of where you ACTUALLY play as William is Ultimate Custom Night.
I honestly think, he missed the point. Michael was told to scare his brother so that he is always afraid of them and never come close. And all of that was ordered by william
The start of this timeline is awful XD It's a fanfic told as it's truth or a theory. I love Matpat, and even if most of his theories are based on speculation (even things that are confirmed as not canon, like William being a loving parent or Gregory being a robot kid), this first part of the theory was too much XD Again, Matpat, I love you, but I think this hurts the fandom more than helping it in some ways :c
If you want my recommendations for FNaF games to play, the top three would be 1, 4, and Pizza Simulator. FNaF 1 is a classic and still quite spooky, FNaF 4 is one of the scariest games in the franchise (and home to my favorite animatronic, Nightmarrione), and Pizzeria Simulator is extremely fun, scary, and has an amazing ending that always gives me chills.
Matpat made a mistake with the timeline. Sister location had to have happened BEFORE the second fazbear pizza restaurant closed down due to Michael already been scooped by the time he got the night shift there on day 7.
Well, I don't trust everything matpat says. Here in Brazil, thegametheorist has become a joke, because he has such absurd theories... Like, surreal ones that don't make sense, simply based on nothing.
well you say that, but scott has confirmed more of his theories then you'd think. like for instance the mediorcor melodies being a knock off. or things like the machines being melted into one which was proven in seceruity breach with the blob. in total, you can say they are outlandish, but there is validity when the original creator of the series is saying that matpat has been close to a majority of the story
yes he may get a few things wrong, but scott has teased how close mattpat and his team has been may times, along with he community, in fact most people he disagrees with he tries to recruit to make a more sound theory. its interesting and exciting to see what can happen, so these theories may have been made by a team, but they dont all agree with it more of an extent even if they see other threads that suggest other wise. some outright just disagree but understand that these theories have more sound logic then others.
6:06 So, uh, just to put that $0.50 into perspective, that's around $11.10 today, although it's still kind of a steal in comparison to today's movie prices, as an average movie ticket is around $10.45 in 2023, not including food and drink, which fredbear's singin' show provided with the ticket. So yeah, still a steal by today's standards as well. I just wanted to get that out there since I have ocd, and it would eat me up inside if I didn't lol.
Do be warned: the 4th part may have been debunked based on some recent things in the most recent books. That being said, we will have to wait for the DLC to actually release before confirming alot
You got over 84k subscribers, man. Asking for 1k likes is honestly setting the bar really low tbh. Great video btw, looking forward to your playthrough.
All the timelines I checked in my language (spanish) say that the begining was the daughter of the purple man dying due to one of his machines, the second thing that happen was the bite of the crying child
Stop I’m only 2 minutes into the video but I would love to see you play the first, second, fourth game, and sister location! The third was kinda confusing to me but there is a lot of hidden lore! Also security breach is a pretty fun game but as you know it’s quite different and a little longer than the others😅
8:52 And so begins the drama (: 18:55 It's also implied in one of the Fazbear Frights stories that he developed narcissistic tendencies because his own parents (or at least one of them) were either abusive or negligent, leading to his own negligent behavior toward his children, though I don't think Matpat picked up on that. Instead of cherishing the family he had left, he would destroy everything around him in an attempt to take back what he lost, possibly even losing track of that motivation as he got lost in his acts of violence. Once you watch all four parts, I recommend watching the Theory Talkback he did with other FNaF theorists on your own time, since they provide some interesting rebuttals and alternate interpretations of what's going on, which may help broaden your perspective, since Matpat is bound by his own assumptions and biases. Other theorists you should check out, either for content or just on your own, are ID's Fantasy, NotRealName NotAtAll, ShyCrow, and Sire Squawks, since they are generally pretty well-researched and provide interesting insight on events and motivations throughout the FNaF series. In particular, I recommend ID's Fantasy.
HI BLAZEEE!! I love your reactions and i have been watching you since middle school and I’m about to start my senior year of highschool and you make my days better! So thank you💖💙
The lore is hinted at in the games, but you won’t get too much up front. The games are just experiencing a new style of horror game, that started when this series started. A series where you have no offense your purely on defense, you can’t run you just have to survive. Also this timeline also has some things missing and other things that have been proven wrong. That’s what happens when a timeline is made from a bunch of theories tied together. Theories are not facts they’re possible but not guaranteed to be fully true.
21:39 - not sure if anyone else said this in the comments but there is a fnaf fan game set in Fredbear's called Return to Bloody Nights, it's really good actually
