The concept of the game and the art of it is so unique I don't think I've seen one like it before it's such a good game :D🙌

I'm gonna hazard a guess on why you had issues with enemies not being shot when point blank. My guess is that the game spawns in bullets as physical projectile objects, and when these objects spawn on top of something else they are either immediately deleted, or the game hasn't properly set their damage value, hence why you fire, but the enemy object doesn't call it's "I'm being damaged" method

The sound design in this game is absolutely fantastic... for better or for worse, those crispy sounds in very beginning, haha XDD But the rest is purely satisfying, the developer did a good job on that! I adore simplicity of pixel games and how gory they can get, since all the gaps in visuals are basically filled with out own imagination. But this one is pretty brutal, never seen game intros like this before :D I wonder now what the developer will come up with next, so excited. I'm not big on playing horror games myself, but this might just be one of the best games I've ever played.

Hey Insym ! You should play an horror game called ColdSide. It's a game inspired by the universe of the SCP Foundation and it's made by only one person. The game is incredible and really well done, it deserve more interest. Also, the composer of the game Soma made the musics of the game, so, it's not nothing. The game has 4 different endings depending on your choices at the end of the game. I hope you'll see my comment !

Crazy game with some of the most audio-gasmic sound design out there. A bit jank with aiming since muzzle in the sprite of an enemy seems to nope the bullets out of existence, but love the concept.

I think the reason the shotgun misses at close range is because the shots are fired not from the center of the screen, but from the gun's muzzle. So when monsters get past the muzzle you can no longer shoot them.

Honestly I've seen crossbows and they do DAMAGE. The strongest crossbows are more destructive than any small (for example revolver) gun (not as strong as a shotgun though lol)

When I tell people I play games with one hand, this isn't what I had in mind, but my Dead Space deprived brain wanted.

Funny how you didn't realize that a long barreled rifle only works if your not too close. Since you literally cannot have the barrel in front of the target, you're basically laying the rifle on top of your target without being able to shoot.

Theres a game id like you to check out called “Uncanny Valley”. Its super cool with multiple endings!

I think that's why when you're close to the monster and it didn't work when you shoot them is because you're on the floor and crawling while they're standing 🤔

well the shotgun is a hitscan and the crossbow is a bullet travel type so the arrow spawn so it hits it but the shotgun its hitscan
