As a professional Dave who Dave's very often, I have to agree with you, this game had too many missed Dave opportunities.

It's hard to decipher because there is nothing to decipher. The game is a giant nothing burger that gives off the vibe of "throw a bunch of random stuff out there and let everyone else theory craft it all together."

I think it was satire, how corpo jobs turn ppl into the same zombies, doing work everyday, when your only "free time" is when you sleep

And the protagonist "Dave" in the end, realised, that he isn't different from other "Dave's", and in fact, he became one

it's as the second reply states, it's random for random's sake. I don't think there's any deeper thoughts to it, they probably thought it was a funny idea and watched a few gameplay videos with office antics to birth the nothing idea

@@Milliardo__Peacecraft The game was made for the "Fuck Capitalism Jam 2023" on itchio, so what another user (wyze7545) said is true. It's about corporation jobs turning people into zombies who are always working, just to go home to sleep and then repeating the same thing the next day. So I'd say it's a very straight forward game, if anything. The only things up to theorize about are mostly who the fuck is Dave and why is there so much conspiracy stuff, but having into account it is a game made for a jam about capitalism being bad and Dave being the only "unique" character... it's also kinda easy to see what Dave can mean.

When you upload a video to RU-vid, you can choose to have it scheduled for release at a certain time - it doesn't necessarily mean he's actively awake at that time. I'm guessing that's what he does, but I don't know for sure. Maybe he is just up real late!
