Haunting Ground Speedruns Explained brought me here. with that said, seeing a DR Vet like you play DR4 Makes me want to give it a try. I've been playing DR since 07'' and rejected DR4 since release b/c of sentiment. ty for what you do for the DR community!
DR4 is more of a problem with development than a game. As a stand-alone experience it’s mostly just mediocre and my major complaints are guns are stronger than ever and you only need one combo weapon. A lot of people give the game more hate than it needs. I’m glad you’ve been enjoying the runs!
honestly deadrising becoming dynasty warriors with zombies sounds like a lot of fun. wish there were more arcadey zombie beat em ups. deadrising has always filled a niche for me that i don't think i've seen another game try to fill.
Honestly? This game isn't that bad at all. I think people were a bit harsh on it, but I still had a lot of fun with it. There is still a lot good things about it even if it is one of the weaker games in the series.
I think the main problem is that “Frank” has a completely new look, voice and personality. It’s simply not the same character. There is a metric ton of cringe dialogue too
The voice actor had no hand in ruining Frank and does the job as well as he can. Capcom at the time wasn't looking to hire TJ Rotolo back due to not wanting to pay union fees. As well while DR4 Frank is an extreme everything after DR1 Frank was leading directly to this, OTR isn't as good story wise as you'd remember
If you like the game then that’s fine, but the fact that DR4 Frank is nothing at all like any other Frank is not even debatable. I don’t care why he isn’t, he just isn’t.
@@Ecdycis oh damn spoiler alert the first level itself and the burning factory running sequence at endgame are the most hardest ones to do. Also when interacting with ATMs and doors I think u can open them with camera open so there's no animation. Would be quicker for a run
