TL;DR 7/10 Great reading and loved the production! Still prefer the 2015 reading though. Recommend everyone go listen to it I've been waiting for this for quite a while now. Your original 2015 recording of TDH is by far my favorite among your readings, I've probably listened to it over 30 times now and I fall asleep to it frequently. I even noticed that you kept the original recording of Wilbur's brother speaking at the end (or did the most perfect recreation I've ever seen.) so I'm very biased in my review of this Dramatic Reading. I actually still prefer the original. But I don't think this is inferior by any means. The intro to the reading is absolutely perfect. The description of the country gets you imagining very rural and backwoods people which we can all imagine. Then the theme song comes in and invades with a very alien tune and gives the sensation of unease that I'm sure the people of Dunwich were feeling upon being confronted by such an unknown being. It really got me right in the mood. One of the very few things I don't like was the lack of Ian voice acting Old Whately and Wilbur. These had me becoming resentful of George for stealing these away.(lol) Also throughout the story I kept wondering how George had such first hand accounts about so many intimate moments dealing with the Whately's and the whole ordeal. I half expected George to be a twist villain at the end. That maybe Wilbur survived and decided to torment people who talked about the incident. I felt that the part that succeeded the best was the discovery of Wilbur at the college. The shriek from Wilbur, the sounds of the breathing in the background, and the final words with their distortions. All of it was perfect and made me feel like I was right there. Any extra background sounds that are added in always get my imagination flowing and allow me to visualize the story much better. I wish there was more when there were descriptions of the invisible horror bending the trees or maybe for the final call of missus Fry. Overall I give it a 7/10. My biggest complaint is that I simply want more of your impressions. I hope you'll take that as a compliment! Keep up the good work guys!

A wonderful adaptation and reading! As a native New Englander, I'm always interested in the accents used by non-local readers. The landlord is quite good. The salesman is definitely a southerner. "r" should be more like English, "ah" or "eh". "Right" should be more like "roight".
