My good friend was working there that day and there was nothing they could do, they lost horses and he also lost a job. Such a sad day, he said it felt like a movie.
HOW IN THE HELL WERE THEY TO EVACUATE 450 HORSES IN 5-10 MINUTES TIME WITH BASICALLY THE ENTIRE PLACE SURROUNDED??!! Did you not notice the volume of winds blowing chunks of live burning embers all over the place, causing those fires to jump, skip several hundred yards at a time, just to flare up on something else on any other CA wildfire videos?? There were most likely already several horsemen on their phones calling for transports and in that 5 minutes it was too late, the fires had jumped into the stable area! What a criticizing bunch of you-know-whats - you just have ALLL the answers...
Good points...there are many factors to consider in these situations. I don't imagine anyone wants to see the horses suffer, or perish in the fires. You would have to really be there to understand what is actually happening. The speed of the spreading fires makes everything VERY DIFFICULT.
Hi there! The man recording that video was one of our reporters. He was there covering the fire and got video of what was happening. As you can tell from the video, it was chaotic trying to evacuate the panicked horses and even the people who work with these horses regularly couldn't save them all.
Wow so many beautiful thoroughbreds. Seeing them is a dream come true, seeing them run, if I could wake up to that many Thoroughbreds that would be amazing. I love hot breed horses. Poor poor buddies :( .
So what was the one dislike 4? Is it because the one horse kept circling around trying to get the other ones to follow him therefore he was most likely misogynist? Or is it because the horses were given a life therefore were there in the first place?
That guy at 2:21, his face look so concerned. But I do want to say, in the background behind him, that guy is smacking that horses ass with a palm tree just because it was frightened. I was surprised it didn't kick him, why would you do that to a scared horse, you're asking to be hurt.
he was trying to get them to get into the trailer so he can save the horses from being burned alive. if anything we should praise that man for putting his life at risk for these amazing animals.
This situation was dire. They needed to evacuate ASAP, they wouldn’t do that out of torment and abuse. Thankfully the fire did t reach my place :/ exactly was iz is saying.
The goal is to try to get the horse in the trailer ASAP. No time to do it smoothly. I dont think he was smacking the horse either just waving the palm tree.
Adrianna Hubbard .... he was trying to get the horse in the trailer. I do English horseback riding and I have a leather riding crop that makes my horse go faster when I am showing her.
