A yo, Crook!!!...I myself, would never dislike great bars with such important content but sometimes art likes this hits different to people for insecure/hidden reasons but at the same time I gotta suggest a tiny book from a black man named Manning Johnson called Color, Communism and Common Sense from the 50s I believe. Some of us think we all are being played...white, black, asian, jewish etc...somehow I feel like niggaz on the t.v are out to trick me by controlling my emotions and shit...I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, fam. From a loyal fan and fellow lyricist; I hope you don't consider me trolling by referring u to a slim book by an elder who I think was overlooked for a reason. Im a Malcolm/Garveyist...2 men who dared to meet with the fucking KKK and still earn their respect apparently while maintaining their full identity. There are KKK sites that have Malcolm X's Autobiography by Alex Haley even though the first pages of his book break down a KKK attack on his home when he was a small child...imagine that even atleast some of those white hillbillies respect him enough to go against the grain to display his entire bio, with no harsh words because he dared to sit with his percieved enemy and find logic behind the manipulation and propaganda....now that's why Brother Malcolm was the fucking Man...and the same goes for Garvey...similar hidden background that the "woke" "community" doesnt teach. My point...not everyone is gonna agree on such passionate subjects which is a good thing...shows the importance of the art for bringing up heartfelt real shit that is a neccessary conversation at the end of the day. Peace. Keep making music u wanna make.
