I have become a fan of Jim McDonald after hearing him on Herbs with Rosalee podcast, some herbalism videos and another podcast. He introduced me to Calamus Root. Looking forward to more videos featuring jim.

there are 3 different species of Equisetum, all said to be the proper one to use medicinally. hyemale, arvense and telmateia. perhaps each of them is medicinal in nature?

The other plant jim was referring to with a high amount of silica is "oatstraw"!

@@mountainroseherbs does that make it good for Osteoporosis? If not, what plant helps by a mechanism other than having a ton of calcium? Thanks a lot.
