This channel is so refreshing. A love for QUALITY bibles. A love for Christ. More beautiful bibles. A cover that starts stiff then smells better as it breaks in, that's awesome.
That leather looks great new, and its really interesting that it will develop character with use, maybe reflecting how the reader's character develops as they read the Scriptures.
Hi Beau, I just watched your video and decided to find an Omega in Horween leather here in Australia, and there was only one! I just bought it....$500AU..a luxury bible I know! Thanks mate! I haven't read the ESV translation so am rapt to have one on the way, praise God.

'21 late at night on ebay it suddenly got listed right before my eyes ...Shamar goatskin and a fabulous translation. I do reviews of my bibles btw, and to get the only Horween ESV in Australia is an absolute gift from God. It was you who sparked this inspiration in me tonight. Great video. Looks like the Bible will hold up good. I never bend a cover back. My wife does that it bothers me when somebody folds a cover back on a book, ha ha. I guess we all have strange things that bother us. Thanks for the chance to win a Bible. Happy Thanksgiving.
Now that you mentioned it ... Horween leather... I love that leather specially when my boots and my wallet uses the same material. The way it wears is really still amazing.
Love Horween Leather! The characteristics of it after use just keeps getting better. Wait until you've used it for a year and see how amazing it looks.
I like it mostly because it's unique. Without that factor I would take a goatskin every time, especially the nicer ones with proper ribbons. Having said that I will now go see about this 40% discount....

Thanks for saying that it's cxl. That's been my question, because Horween has many leathers. A couple years ago I got a small piece of Horween cxl and rebound my ESV LP Compact. It's not my main ESV so it doesn't show a lot of wear, and no wrinkles like yours.....but I don't roll the cover over when using it. I suppose I could start doing that, to give it more character 😄
Great video. I would like to see some more information on the Horween leather bindings. They definitely look good, but not yet sure if I want to purchase one.
I'm totally a Bible sniffer too offft the smell drool 🤤 lol what gorgeous bibles for sure 😊 love what you said about these bibles are meant to be used. That's the truth for sure they do no good collecting dust on a shelf looking mint.
This is great Beau! I love the direction crossway is going in making bibles that wear well with the Horween Leather. Instead of a Bible one tries to keep looking as new and as a result, not use it as much… bibles are meant to be used and get worn! Love, love this direction! Buuut they cost a pretty penny😅.. by the time they get to Africa, they will be 3 times as expensive😔
