Really enjoyed this analysis of 'Shakunetsu nite Junjou' which is the actual song title. Wii wii woo is the onomatopoeia of the emergency sirens as you are being 'purified by burning'.

Can't believe it took a year, but I'm so glad you made a specter analysis! I always love watching your reactions and it helps me understand why I enjoy a certain suisei song. I'm not classically trained in the slightest, but I have played instruments before, so it warms my musician heart!
Just a little personal interpretation: as a person who has perused a lot of manga, 'Wii' and 'Woo' have always been used as sound effects for sirens. This song, "Wii Wii Woo," paints a picture of being in a crisis situation or a major emergency/calamity. I hope that gives a little more clarity on the choice of having high bpm and a chaotic tones for this song. Anyway, I am very glad to see an in-depth analysis from this channel after so long.🎉

I’m a former high school music kid who sometimes still conducts while running to the music, listening to your breakdowns of these songs where you do the same thing I do and go much deeper are amazing. Love the music theory (and Suisei and not just cause she might kill me with her axe)
I've been looking forward to your analysis since the day Specter dropped! Suisei crams so much musical badassery into her songs and I just so appreciate you breaking it down for us. Your nerding out over the music theory behind it all is simply fantastic.

I looked into the rhythm of the first "time is now time is now" in GarageBand with a 354 bpm(!) metronome, and I found out that 1) wow each note actually is 2.5 16th notes worth and 2) the pause after that (where Suisei is laughing) is a tiny bit longer than what you'd expect! The instrumentals right before her "WII WII WOO" vocals come in about 1.5 32nd notes' worth the time late, so when you line up the beginning of the song with a metronome, the rest of the song becomes slightly off. Maybe this (ever so slightly) prolonged rest adds to the "sped up → grinding to a halt" effect you mention!
What I'm still wondering is whether the 2.5 16th notes rhythm was intentional or not... I honestly can't imagine having to play that accurately, and imo the intention could have been a regular quarter note triplet, they just played it a little too quickly.
Finally able to get around and watch this, welcome back! Love being able to hear the reasons and whatnot to how great and hype this song is! I hope she'd have more rock songs down the line, going by her discography it seems to fit her so well. Wii-wii-woo is definitely one of my favs on this album! I saw that the production value seems also to have gone up a notch after the timeskip! Well done on the vid and looking forward for all the other stuff down the line! Yes! I missed your analysis. You put perfectly what makes a song sound great and also what makes it sound off, and towards a musician I highly respect. I didn't realize all those wild shifts weren't tempo shifts at all until you pointed them out. Looking forward to the series!

So I must recommend the Sakura Miko versions of Stellar Stellar and Wii Wii Woo (Also Bibbideba as well I guess, but original Bibbideba by the Sui first). I love your music analysis so much! Please record your reactions to the music more often. From myself, I can recommend listening to the songs from the Honkai Impact 3rd game. The music there isn't very complex, but it's spectacular and emotional. And Towa Tokoyami has a new album out ;)

I hope you one day watch the fate grand order 8th anniversary memorial trailer. the music and visuals are amazing. it always brings tears to my eyes when I watch it.
