That's so cool. The X07 had the advantage on grass because of it's larger tires. It's a great car to run against other cars. It's quite peppy. Thanks for sharing. You guys did great and had fun. The X07 would be a good car to start off with. It's a great value. Especially with the battery included 2s lipo and even lipo bag. 👍👍
I was really amazed that for once, a budget RC actually exceeded its advertising. Just wait until you see what this thing did at the skatepark. Seriously impressive and surprising. Well beyond expectations.
I love your video, i think if we put a splitter and added a fan to the motor this baby will hold up strong. I built a aluminum under carrier for the motor just in case it decides it wants to move. awesome stuff

Lol well I did the skatepark filming today. Editing now. But wait until you see what this thing does there. It really is way beyond what it should ever been able to do. Absolutely spectacular. I just did it and still can't believe it.

Me too actually. I did really put it through a beating at the skatepark today and it blew my mind how durable and spectacular it proved to be, but yeah I'm worried about the extreme motor heat too. Actually I just finished editing the skatepark bash footage. I'm just going to go ahead and post it tonight. Btw I saw the video of your niece crawling. It was pretty good. I forgot to comment though.
Also the problem with the higher speeds the car doesn't track straight you can't humanly get the claimed top speed because the car always goes off from straight line....
I have ordered the X07 and it should get delivered today, im curious if the diffs come greased from factory? Do you know if they do? Great video friend im a new sub!
@@Rek_Rc thanks dude! This one came greased and it came with some needed upgrades that Hosim made for no extra cost which is cool! Metal servo horn, all metal steering components, better wire connections between esc and motor, upgraded front bumper design, and a red motor with matching red heat sink with a Hosim logo on motor! It seems they care enough to make these changes and it still only costed me $150! Thank you for letting me know, I checked before driving and it was ok, I made a video on my channel ripping some in the woods with it yesterday and at the end showing those cool upgrades if u have time to check out! Love your channel man its fun and well done!☮️😎
@@lukerecore3211 it ended up being a surprisingly tough RC for the price. I couldn't believe how it withstood the skatepark. Really good rc if you don't want to spend Traxxas or arrma money, but still want brushless speed and high durability. I was so skeptical of this car based on the earlier release of it, but Hosim really made changes that brought great results.

Man. These cheaper rcs seem great. Do you have a traxxas, arrma or anything of that sort? If so what’s your thoughts on these cheaper ones to the more expensive ones?
Yep, there is a lot of name brand and budget content on the channel. I started the channel with a Senton 3s and have spent 2 years punishing it, and it still runs just fine.
I noticed this version doesn't have a zip tie on the ESC and as you mentioned, it now has a parts manual. Seems like Hosim fixed some of the issues. Would this be the same for the blue version? Amazon Canada only offers the blue version.
I think so because I bought the blue version with the 5200 mah lipo. The ESC is held down without a zip tie, the manual is full color now and has the parts catalog as well as the exploded diagrams. So I think you should be ok getting the blue version.
The charger it came with will work fine, but it will take longer. A balance charger would be better though as it can charge a bit faster and maintain cell balance a bit better.

This Hosim X-07 for sure, the reason I say that is because getting parts for it tends to be a little bit easier and faster, and it's just much more durable and versatile. The 124017 v2 is fast but it's really not that usable anywhere besides asphalt or concrete. There is a skatepark video of the Hosim X-07 on the channel if you want to see how tough it really is. One hard jump breaks Wltoys cars often in my experience. I would say swap the wheels on the X-07 and otherwise it's the best budget rc I've encountered on the channel so far. Very surprising RC.
@@DanielCosta-zp6jl I used duratrax street tires.and it made an unbelievable difference. There is a video of that on the channel too. It was even faster on the better tires.
Sure I can but there are several you can use in this rc. The one used in this video is a very small 1000 mAh 3s by gens ace. Is that what you're interested in? Or are you looking for something a bit larger?
@@SK-mn5rq yes if you buy a 3s you will need to buy a compatible charger. HB6 budget chargers are great because they are cheap and can charge most batteries up to 6s.
I have this car the servo is slow there's no motor mount it's not really that fast for a true 1/10 it's not a true 1/10 it's more like a 1/12 if u run on 3s the motor gets blazing hot . I wish I would of saved my money gotten a Mt10 team ass.
This car is hit and miss, mine was nearly perfectly! 47 MPH on 3s, and it took an insane beating at the skatepark with no major breaks. Though I've seen some that people had a bad time with
just because your opening photo on RU-vid said it was the best I have to tell your viewers the truth… Update from an actual owner… The car is toy grade what do you expect from the Chinese… All the things look adjustable or fake nothing is adjustable you can't even change a pinion gear… The whole car is basically a fake. The motor will overheat seriously until it melts and don't drive it up and down the road this thing can do a straight line if you prayed… So much hype from all the RU-vid channels but they're just sponsors they get the cars for free and it's all hype lies garbage… The car is worth about 50 bucks not the 200+ there's so many issues because it's cheap I can even list them all. That's the truth from an owner of the car
The first version had a lot of problems, they even used zip ties on the ESC, but mine didn't have zip ties. I actually had a good experience with this car. I ended up giving it away, but it always ran perfect for me while I had it and I wasn't very gentle with it at all. You should see how I treated it at the skatepark. This is one of those cars that is hit and miss. Some will be great as mine was and some will just have problems. Kind of like the wltoys 124017, many people loved it, and many hated it.
The RC is kind of expensive for garbage not to mention you never showed the transmitter at all and you keep putting on the clips backwards that's why they fall off
It's all for fun. I still have another video of the car coming out. I personally was impressed by how it performed for the price. You should see the skatepark video. It really took a beating there.
