I love the Spooks series, am watching them all as I have been down w a broken leg. One deal that as a longtime video/movie producer annoys me about these episodes with Saudi and Arab themes is the horrible music used to depict the Arab scenes, it is old fashioned and would be OK for a bit but why never change it up? There is very fun and less whiney Arab music in all genres. In fact that is a weakness of the series that is hard to excuse as BBC has so much access to good content. You need better music production people.
I like the mystery of your show and the intrigue, but it’s not necessary to show all the violence you can intimate the violence but it’s too much when you go into the grossness of it it’s just not necessary for this reason I don’t watch 90% of your episodes because they’re just too violent
I do agree with you, but it's in almost all modern stuff. If you dont like gross, whatever you do, dont watch the US "The Strain". I couldnt face it. What I also dont like is that ALL the agents get killed - which becomes boring and irritating. And in Adams case, it breaks the character he was portrayed as, and was just a bit of pointless emotional string pulling, designed to get all the female watchers weeping, which smacks of emotional manipulation. Adam wouldnt have risked leaving Wes parentless and in deep grief. He would have realised he had to put Wes first, and would have left, to become a school teacher or such. but, basically, if you get sick of a constant diet of killing and murders and still watch something on TV, you're pretty much stuck with Hallmark idiot romantics or Jane Austen reruns.
