Yeah, not buying that a watch station wouldn't be hardened, number one, and number two, that they'd be so stupid as to go to the door upon an unscheduled ring at the door and stand right behind an unhardened door to peep thru the peephole rather than stand well aside of it with gun drawn to query: "Who is it?"

It's hilarious when a Brit tries to sound like an American. Only Hugh Laurie did it to perfection. There was another guy in an American sitcom, the name of which escapes me, who had me shocked to learn he wasn't. In this show, well, who do you think isn't really American?

I really love this series. Unfortunate to have to visualize animal abuse and cruelty. At least have the decency to avoid confronting the watchers with such a touchy subject. I know it's a Brittish series but they're not ignorant, surely.

Thank you for the alert, myriamhaar. Animal abuse enrages me & saddens me as does child abuse - any cruelty actually so I will jump this one. I too enjoy this series immensely otherwise. Thank you!

Agree totally, trying to remember that when the series was made there was less awareness of the cruelty of greyhound racing. Tracks are now closing all the time thankfully
