Thomas I’m pulling for you man… I hope others in the Sim Racing Community support you as well… you’ve done a lot for the sim racing world- Sorry there are so many obstacles that have had such challenging effects/ Hope to see you on the Sunny Side again- and you to be your happy excited self again… have noticed you hadn’t been yourself for awhile - Best Wishes Thomas👍
I really hope so too. There is no doubt he has to bear some responsibility for the mismanagement over the years but this is essentially a hostile take over. Considering the man was instrumental in the growth of sim racing and also sparking the competition from all the competitors we see today, I feel that Fanatec is is better with him than without him. Albeit with some assistance moving forward. He clearly wants his baby to survive and there are clearly people that do not.
I just feel for the workforce. It’s one of those situations where you get up to go to work on Monday and don’t know when you get there if the gates are going to be locked.
I agree with you! The news coming to light is shocking and the consumer along with the employee are going to end up being collateral damage if they don't get it together 🤔
What a very sad situation. Not only has Thomas got the market place to deal and fight with, but to have the evil 'over-throwers' devalue the company from within the ranks, this is an uphill struggle for him, maybe court time if the seemingly evidence is this true and strong. Strength to you and your family Dr Scott, I'm wishing for the best.
Very sad mate. The whole situation is nuts. He definitely has a fight on his hands and I think the odds are very much stacked against him. It is going to be fascinating to see how this develops. My best to you and your family too ID. Stay frosty 💪🏻
I was no fan of Fanatec (ahem!) - even as a DD Pro owner - but after hearing about how Thomas refused to take a golden parachute, I'm a big supporter of him, personally. Sure, there has been huge mismanagement, by him and the board, but his decision to side with his shareholders and not being bribed by the hostile takeover speaks hugely of his credibility. For the sake of the current owners of Fanatec products, and those in the waiting line, I hope the situation can be resolved. The industry and community as a whole needs healthy competition. The old Fanatec business model was borderline greedy and deeply flawed, but I think TJ can now see this, and with a good team around him can save the company.
Given his recent gesture to save the company, I can respect that. I agree completely that his credibility has only been bolstered within this situation. I really hope he manages to pull it out of the fire here. Again, I agree with you, the more competition the better and the sim racing space is definitely better with Fanatec in it, than without it 💪🏻
@@TraumaTeamRacing Agreed...and this is far from a slam dunk for Thomas but the fact that it's gotten the attention from the German Govt gives me a lot of hope
