It's funny how backspacing and respawning is the SC equivalent of turning it off and on again

local security has detected fun being had, lethal force is now authorized

I got some well-earned hostility at a DC when the guards were surprisingly brave, actually pushed against the hostiles attacking outside, and I didn't see them down below as I was using my ship's main guns to cause a bit of property damage... I mean... soften them up... Turned into the most epic SC experience. As soon as my CS hit 3, AA defenses opened fire. I turned my 400i skyward and floored it... almost made it but then I got soft-deathed... and survived the crash. I was 4km from the DC, in the dark, alone, and I thought I could hear Kopions in the woods. The mission was still active, so I ran the 4k back to the DC, completed the mission, then "turned myself in" to the DC guards. Logged in the next day in Klescher, and when I was released, my 400i was repaired and waiting for me.

Just another day in SC when Security decides they don't like you even with no CS, always good fun to watch your videos

Seeing you cruise around in the Terrapin so much has given me an inexplicable affinity for a ship I've never even seen in-game, much less flown around in.

Looks like these fights are getting better and better. Love that security and hostile forces where trading shots as well, adds to the ambiance.

I have found to get around the reload loop you have to equip the mags onto your suit.

I do these missions almost exclusively...this happens often unfortunately. No CS, yet being shot at by both personnel and turrets as I left. Only way I have found to clear it was to backspace. No prison time. Rezzed back in my Nursa. All clear.

Seeing footage of the S71 being used makes me remember how lovely it us to use the S71 recently, the punchy feel and report of the gun makes running Distribution Centers so fun with how versatile it is at range and how you can spam it like a M14, oh and the fact that the enemies also drop S71s means endless S71 supplies! Though shame the standard scope, OT4-RF, doesnt come with it anymore on loot drops or enemy weapons. Love the vids btw!

It's nice to see how the FPS gameplay develops occasionally because I'm more into trading, mining, etc. If they iron out the bugs I might get into it more.

We had a similar thing happen at an MT Distro Center--took a lawful mission, got on site fine, and then all the sudden security treated us as hostile. No CS, no accidental friendly fire. Might try it again, see if we can replicate it. Great video!

I always double up on these 2 missions. It's generally easy money/gear... Basically just strip everything into 'local' and you can then toss it into a box or ship later

you make distro centers look real fun! every time I've tried going I just wind up overwhelmed and dead

Very nice! Looked like a good time with your crew. I can't imagine how intense it will be when server meshing works and the A.I. start coordinating and moving in a more tactical way. It should be a lot more difficult.

The security acting random sure does lead to some funny moments, even if not intended haha

I ended up doing the first facility mission alone and it took me ages and what felt like thousands of rounds of ammo to fight off the security forces!

Super awesome video again. I like how you try all the different option to figured out why the Security are hostile to you.

That was some intense battle! Just imagine a really coordinated A.I., organizing itself, surrounding enemies (= you!)... OMG, this will be EPIC! 😀

Oh this explains why I sometimes see the missile barrages at station, but no hostiles... Weird!

The hostility bug was pretty odd but in general I'm really enjoying distribution gameplay and look forward to the gameplay here being expanded, of particular note is the eerie music around the distrib centers.

Your Corsair videos were what got me into the game, and also convinced my wife I needed a Corsair, lol. She doesn't play, but at least tries to understand my obsessions.

The reload loop can be worked around by combining your ammunition (lalt+1), or manually equipping fresh magazines onto your gear.

We love some good ol’ distribution center fps missions (with a side of mysteriously pissing off the locals)

The new locations are amazing. I'm increasingly seeing Star Citizen as a full fledged game. Let's hope we get more missions and new gameplay opportunities!

I've been steering clear of the DC because of the random targeting. I'm glad to now have this info in my aresenal.😊

I like the distribution centers. The missions there are a breath of fresh air, when they work :)

I do recall one of the developers talking about aggro issues with station defenses, especially around grim hex. I *think* that's one of the things addressed in 3.24

And that is why the Terrapin is one of my favorites, it is tough as nails and even if you lose an engine you can still limp away.

Always love your videos, out of all the content creators for sc I feel like you're one of the rare ones that plays the game the way it wants to be played if that makes sense

I really liked it! :) We all now those Star Citizen moments when the game does something unpredicted to you! In this case I think, it´s a surprise that is not game breaking but gives you a new challages, even if it´s just some glitch.

Very fun video, despite the bug ruining the play session. I love your choice of ships. The flight footage looks really cinematic.

I really like doing these missions at the DC. They give you a glimpse of how the AI is going. I just wish we had more variety. We have these huge facilities but always the same amount of enemies, at the same spot.

Something to note for others that get hit with the reload loop while trying to backpack reloading i have found that instead of reloading through that system hit the ammo repool keybinding and itll break that loop. I run bunkers a LOT and i pretty much just use nothing but the repool system now for reloading until that bug is fixed.

I've had this before. A simple mission turns into the Star Citizen equivalent of horde mode!

The settlements just hate when you try to clear the rubbish. Great vid as always.

The Terrapin is my go-to for a shuttle to get to hop between missions. It's great to see it getting some use.

When Star Citizen decides your public enemy number one for the day! This video does make me want a terrapin dropship variant

I've been holding off on going to distro centers until the new cargo hauling missions drop. Excited to finally start exploring them, especially when they are 100% finished.

Some of those DC missions can be tough, much harder than the bunker missions. I like the outside DC missions too.

I had that problem several weeks ago at Microtech. Dying didn’t seem to fix it on the first day. However a couple of days later it resolved itself.

I completed an 890 Jump mission the other day and afterwards security aboard turned hostile. I also didn't have a crime stat. It was kind of cool though, because they were blocking the path to the elevators, so I went back to the hangar and flew the 300i out and back to my ship.

Just a normal day in sc, where security chooses wether they like you or not and decide to start shooting.

Microtech Security was angry with you for your safety transgression of walking through the vehicle doors instead of going thru the doors for people. They had to extract the price of your blood in order to reinforce the safety regulations/protocols. lol Another great video! Good luck to everyone in the contest for the game package.

It's been... a while since I last played this. Bugs started really getting in the way of the gameplay last time. Will have to start playing again after seeing some of this new content!

Fortunately I only had once the bug being hostile without having a crime stat. It was solved the same way as you did: just die and respawn and everything was fine again. Also like doing these missions at the distribution centers but only the one on the outside when being on my own. They are a little bit more fun than the bunker missions And good luck to everyone for the giveaway!

Not tried the facilities out yet but that looked pretty awesome. Always a cool vid from you guys, I love the organisation and efficiency. o7

This kinda reminds me of Port O. randomly deciding nearby pilots had to die.

Maintenance procedures require each turret to be operated at least once for >5 minutes each day to keep the warranty alive - obviously the quota was not reached that day so you were chosen to fix that.

On-site courier missions for Distributions centers will be quite interesting, given mad can hit the fan at any time if one chose the wrong day to show up for work. 😅 Pickup parcel from Wing-D7, friendliest of people at the DistroCen. Turn 3 corners into Wing-C3, hello Night City.

I’ve had security shoot at me many times doing these missions when there were no accidental friendly fires. Made for some funny gameplay.

I now want to check out the Terrapin, a ship I’ve never flown, but you seem to favour it. Once again a great edit and well paced video. o7
