Honestly so cool to see the Cat in action for combat and how that can look for Org battles or pirate gameplay. Genuinely excited to see how this series goes. Loving to live vicariously though you guys!
It would be nice if the little two gun mount on top of the command module was actually a remote turret that could be controlled by the co-pilot. You know like on the Corsair.
Love these videos. When I tried it i got the combination of cargo bug, and no party markers so the group i was playing with couldn't effectively work together at all
Caterpillar is always an awesome sight. I know the C2 does more cargo... and I really wonder what cargo loading/unloading with the current Cat looks like... but in the end the Cat is just so much better looking than the C2. Wonder when if at all the Cat modules will come in.
Yeah, ok so not just me has messed up repeaters and laser cannons so weird C.I.G. think a bit more about nerfing all the ships at once. Does it make sense?

I'm sorry you didn't find any cargo, but from what I saw you guys seemed to have had a lot of fun playing it? Your thoughts on the Event are fair and I agree, it needs a bit of work to make it useful.
Do you play as a small group of friends or as an org? Always love how tight knit a group you are! You've convinced me to put the Polar skin on my Cat. 😄
Nail biter! Impressive to see how survivable a Cat really is in those situations. It's really a shame the state of the game is so poor right now. I hope they fix the major issues with cargo and blockade runner soon. If you guys are running cargo missions on the next episode, avoid ground based cargo missions at all costs.
The Cat is by far one of the coolest ships in game. It just needs a gold pass. Add the ability for cargo lifts to go to the ground and also change the tractor beam placement, which would help with loading.
Had a lot of fun with the Linux User Group org on this event, went out in a mostly crewed Hammerhead to join in on the Blockade Running. We ended up clearing out three empty "massive" Zeta locations before finally netting a Starlifter that was filled to the brim - 690 SCU of it. Luckily a friendly C2 showed up to accept the massive boxes, so we helped ferry them over and then went to repair/restock while they delivered.
Really loved the combat in this, the third person perspective was epic, would love an assault version of the caterpillar with a missile launch system and a couple more turrets. Add a torpedo bay to the front :)
I think it has ended now, this was recorded around a week ago i think. but hopefully when it runs again in future it will have undergone some mission fixes :)
Gotcha! At 1:00 in - that's not a bottle of Cruz Lux, it's Cruz Dark! Tsk, tsk. It's like playing Fallout and getting all the Nuka cola's wrong. :P ... Wonder what hauling in the Cat will be like.
