Today we make crispy, hot traditional rolls of Greek custard pie with a unique taste! Just try to do it!

RECIPE:
Ingredients
For the syrup
500 g sugar
400 ml of water
Two vanillas
A little lemon juice
For the Cream
1 litre of milk
100 g sugar
150 g fine semolina
100 g butter
Two vanillas
3 eggs
2 egg yolks
500 g puff pastry sheets
Seed oil
Butter
Method
We start by making the syrup for the custard pie rolls. Put the sugar together with the water in a saucepan and boil for 10 minutes.
Then, take the pot off the heat and flavor it with the vanillas and lemon juice.
Continue making the cream. Put the milk together with the sugar in a saucepan until they reach a lukewarm temperature.
When warm, add the semolina and stir over medium heat until the mixture thickens.
Then remove from the heat and incorporate the butter and vanillas.
Then, in the warm cream, add the eggs, the yolks and stir over a medium heat until the mixture thickens.
Put the roll with the crust sheet on the kitchen counter and cut it into three equal parts.
We take a strip, oil it halfway and fold it, as shown in the video. Then, fold one end a little and spread the cold cream. Finally, fold the edges inwards and wrap in a roll.
Place the rolls in an oiled pan and grease them with melted butter.
Bake at 200 degrees Celsius, until golden brown.
SYRUP: While the rolls are hot, syrup them with lukewarm syrup.
Serve after 8 hours.
