One word for this woman, 'gold-digger'! She knew this man for long enough to know that he was quite well-off; marries him, and then decides very quickly with her therapist that she is not in love with him. She was never in love with him, just his pay-check. Feel sorry for these children, if this is the example she is setting to them, as to how you behave, use people to your advantage. Interesting, that her lawyer is focussing totally on his income, possibly trying to distract from her behaviour and what she is spending her money on. YESSSS!!! I have told several wealthy friends that this is a must! 3 did do that and the 4th did say “I trust her with all my heart”. I told him I understand, but, your heart has nothing to do with trusting her with your money. He barely knew her. I am in Texas, so if you do not have a VERY solid , no loop holes, prenuptial agreement you will pay later. One of them- ( I knew she was just like this female. I refuse to call her a woman or lady, because you don’t do this to someone you “love”. ) He lost 1/2 of everything he has worked for years for. And has had to continue to work beyond the age he should have. I never told him “I told you so”, that just adds salt to the wound, so to speak. I just try to keep in mind and keep in touch with him. And check on him frequently. It’s not my place to tell him anything other than I love him and I am here anytime day or night. He is also my husband’s friend and he is welcome to call him. The whole ordeal was heartbreaking. 1 of the other 3 has thanked me over and over. Yes, they divorced after around the 7 month period. The other 2 have been married and happy for many, many years. Friends, don’t let your heart get in the way of protecting yourself. If the other person gets offended or mad, they may not be for you. Sending the best to you all.

The money put into the house was his before the asset was acquired. It was purchased as a debt. If the judge grants her half the down payment, it would be egregious. This woman is dangerous, nentally unstable and has very low morals. She knew what she was doing. These types of women are everywhere. They were taught marital assets law. Luckily a judge can look at everything. 6 months post marriage she's already cheating and trying to get cash.
400 a month doesn't buy her one outfit. She too upscale for that. She saw a rich house maybe a rich car and a rich wristwatch and decided he was sugar daddy material. She quickly realized he was more sugar-free daddy material and started crafting an emergency smash-n-grab exit strategy.
It's laughable for the judge to demand the man to treat her with respect simply for the fact that she's his wife after all the respect she's shown him by sleeping with 2 men (that he knows about). Yet another man that gets screwed over by a pretty face for not doing due diligence and using common sense.
Anything of value you bring into a marriage you should automatically take out in a divorce. Anything of value collected together while married gets split 50-50. This case screams GOLD DIGGER.

At my divorce my ex told the judge how he got a reckless driving driving ticket. It was an incredibly stupid reason, I can't believe anyone would have told a story like that. The judge just stared at him for about two minutes. Half the people in the room wanted to laugh and the others were just as horrified as the judge was. His little story got me everything I asked for. His lawyer was pissed
