Hot Composting: More Compost, Less Time!! Part II

Every now and then I have seen and captured a rat. I don’t worry so much about mice. This being said, there’s enough hot tubs around neighbouring properties that the rats were here before I started composting. my compost doesn’t attract rats. The hot tubs do. They’re warm and a great winter hiding place. So I deal with them, but no worries about them trying to get inside our house, they likely already have homes inside the insulation of peoples hot tubs!
