HOT FLASH Must Haves for after hysterectomy and menopause 

Hey girl I’m a two year breast cancer survivor. I had chemo which put me into menopause (I was 46 years old at the time). Those hot flashes are brutal! I live in Texas and the humidity is unbelievable 😅. I own 4 fans in my house, layer clothing. My trick is to immediately try to cool down when you start to feel a flash coming on. Also look up Bonafide. They make hot flash meds that are hormone free and my oncologist approves. Good luck. Much love and take care.

Right on time. Had my first hot flash while driving in the car today on the interstate and couldn’t take my coat off!! 🥵 Blasted the A/C and rolled the windows down. I’m sure people thought I was crazy 😜

This is so helpful. You're someone I can watch all day to calm myself down after receiving the diagnosis of breast cancer at only 23. I know I am young, so they put me also on zolidex to increase my chances of having children one day. I will fight it despite being so hard and drowning. My cancer also affected my bones, so it's hard for me to walk, but with the right treatment, I have no doubts I will be walking again.

Hi Marina! Thanks for the tips. Will definitely check out the Sheex!! I have been dealing with hot flashes since early menopause happened and I opted for the bio identical hormones made from my exact bloodwork at a compound pharmacy. They are called troches. You place a tiny square between your upper cheek and gum and it melts! But when my ovarian cancer diagnosis happened I got worried about any hormones so I stopped them. My gyn-onc suggested an anxiety pill that has a side effect of helping hot flashes. It’s called Paroxetine. But it honestly didn’t help much and they suggested upping my dose and for me, personally, I didn’t like being on an anxiety med when I didn’t need it. So now I’m just having my hot flashes and pulling off my caps when they happen and feeling grateful it’s winter and I can go out on my deck and instantly chill! I have found also having my bedroom ceiling fan on low all night helps a lot! Take care everyone! Big hugs!
