I have only worn make-up to go out. My daughters wore make-up from their teens, and my daughter informed me "you need to wear it more often, 'now that you're old' mum"...😂😂😂 so I started watching these channels, bought highend and drugstore brands, wore it more often and quite enjoyed it, but now I'm retired, I don't go anywhere that often, and it seems such a waste to just sit at home... do you ladies bother if you're just at home??? Am I just lazy??

Yeah makeup is definitely me time. My mother never wears makeup-she’s more into skincare making you look your best, so she doesn’t get that makeup is not about making me look better (although it definitely does when I accentuate my features). It’s more about the process and artistry for me.

At 72 I LOVE doing my makeup and I love buying new products that you, Angie, Nikki, Allie, Risa and others share. I also appreciate when you explain which brushes you use and why. Putting on makeup is a favorite part of my day!! I find it calming/therapeutic. When my daughter was little, she thought I was magic because of my transformation :)! I LOVE THAT. Today she is 27 and her makeup is always beautiful!! RE: the CT foundation--it was not for me! Too glowy on my oily skin and emphasized my fine lines & pores!

I love the Charlotte foundation but would love it even more if it was a satin finish. The formula and color for me are perfect - But it is a bit glowy.

Yes, I found it too glowy.. I use it under other foundation to brighten my skin when dull in winter, or you can take down the shine with matt powders... but I don't use it in summer, I think then I just look sweaty!

21:48 you have to spend time on yourself, being the best possible you and if you do, you'll feel great and in turn, look great! Then, you can love others because you love yourself and you make a great person to be around. French women have this philosophy and do you know they insert makeup products, facials and massages into their monthly budget - we can learn alot from that. 😊

The foundation does look really pretty on you. If it doesn’t feel great, it doesn’t matter how it looks. There are too many choices out there to try and make something work 😊. My me time is actually watching you and other content creators apply makeup. I get inspired and hopeful. I just am not great at applying/wearing makeup.

I’m with you on how foundation “feels” after application. If I’m noticing it, then it’s usually a greasy texture for my combo skin. I’ve had that same feeling when I tried the makeup forever palette with foundation, concealer and blush options. To me, they also usually transfer when they’re feeling that way on the skin. Lisa you made the foundation look gorgeous, regardless. Always appreciate your precise and just thorough reviews and always teaching us something in every video. Another beautiful look sweet lady❤️

Doing my makeup is definitely self-care time for me. After struggling with acne as a teenager, initially, it was about covering my breakouts because I was insecure about my skin. As I've gotten older and my skin has cleared, it's more about the process rather than the result.

2:00, At this particular minute, when you first applied the foundation, I could see what you were saying about the grey but at 27:09, in the end it was super lovely especially with the powder you used because you wanted the more matted finished look. You’re a professional, you have the brushes and the years of experience so to me, it’s always beautiful. Since you asked, I don’t like the color or tackiness of this CT foundation stick. It looked grey when you were applying it. I would have just stopped and chosen a different product.

OMG I caught this just in time...I've been wanting Angies travel set for a while now, had to flip from this video to get that set right away...it's 1 40 AM PST, thank you for honoring the discount so late on the 9th, LOVE YOU, and can't wait for this travel set! I so often am doing my make up in a car (hubs driving) and now I dont' have to drag my full size Angie brushes and your own into whatever bag, (or even an extra tote bag) to do that. Also, for upcoming international work and event travel, I have to look polished, professional and finished, (again, making up in vehicles) this will make it sooooo much easier...SO EXCITED!!! I went out on a limb and bought the CT stick foundation... I was skeptical because I have combo to oily skin. It's beautiful! I love how it looks! I also bought a mini Givenchy Prism Libre powder to try... worth the hype! My skin looks absolutely flawless after I powder it down! I'm in love! Also, I ordered some of your makeup brushes a few weeks ago. Well, I'm a believer in good brushes now (I still have my 8 dollar Elf brushes and love them, too). I ordered some more on Amazon yesterday for Prime Day... I can't wait for them to arrive. I also love doing my makeup. I just wish i had more room for it!

The foundation is so glowy, it looks like the flawless finish in a stick form. I think this is the 3rd review of this product and it looks like everyone applied highlighter all over the face. Thank you so much for reviewing this product. I’m 53, and I also have to be careful with glow. You look beautiful in it Lisa, your skin is so perfect you can get away with it. ❤ It’ll definitely be a hard pass for me

I think the code only works on full price items. Some things are already marked on sale and it doesn’t work on those. That’s just what I think but I may be wrong.

I don’t like to be negative but the Charlotte Tilbury foundation is terrible. I have not seen one positive review about the product! On a more positive note, your eye make looks amazing. I always appreciate the detail you put into your videos, thank you.
