I feel extremely cool right now as I've just finished crocheting my first summer bag (made with yarn from my mama's cupboard so it was also free!) 😂 Now I just need to find a pattern for a cute cover up 😍
For affordable "summer bag" options you might want to have a look at Longchamp. I really enjoy their "Le Panier Pliage" Line, used mine a lot this summer. Not too big, not too expensive, total garden party material. And you do not have to worry about staining it with sunscreen or fruity cocktails as much as you would have to with a bag that you paid thousands for.

I carry my Loewe basket bag all summer long, beach or grocery store. Had it for years, and it still looks perfect. This might just be the summer to add a new one. I love a basket bag! They're a forever classic. My favorite is actually from Primark. Ive had it for 5+ years and its still in great condition. I just removed the colorful bobs it came with which dated and "chepened" the look. I have a faux pair of Chanel dad sandals and I absolutely love them! They are comfy and look great with everything. There are mid range Brands like isabel Bernard, fossil, Radley, aigner, demellier London and even cheap bags like aldo, cos and h&m sometimes even makes bags with some interesting Designs, they are pink and loud. Another great option for the pijama sets is Aritzia (i got mine there last year and LOVE it), for the clips they sell in Skims with rhinestones as well, and for the raffia bags honestly try also local boutiques! I take 42 and I have super ugly feet due to pushing them into shoes when I was younger!! I want them so much but I bought Jimmy Choo points and they hurt my foot that’s not perfect.. I love the look of the Goyard, but I have absolutely no interest in hearing the price😂 I half expect it to be over 2k Loewe Paula's Ibiza really killed it this year, but part of me is sad that Loewe is plastering giant labels with their name on things to the point that takes away from various clothing designs😕
Be careful with crochet items. Crochet has to be done by hand & is time consuming so make sure the brand you choose pay their workers properly. Cheap crochet definitely means slave labour. Hopefully designer brands will pay properly.
