Timmy is so mature and classy he doesn’t really fit in with this cast. He takes his art seriously and you can see that in his responses. I guess it only makes sense that he’s the only Oscar nominee among these kids. Also, the interviewer is quite annoying.

Then he turned around and said after living in LA for awhile filming BB he didn't know if he could grow as a human there. But who knows he may return to school or even LA at some time. He is still young and evolving. Although I do think LA is a pit fall for a young actor.

@@DL-wu9kk he made this way before CMBYN. I didn't go anywhere. But when CMBYN hit the festival circuit and did well, they pulled this film back onto the market to capitalize on his new name. I think this irritated and embarrassed him. Cause this was a film he just figured would be in his past. But instead he has to go out and promote it out of contractual obligations when he really isn't proud of it.

My celebrity crush is definitley Timothée Chalamet! He is just so eloquent, lovable and dorky (in a very good way). But I noticed that he looks a bit uncomfortable in this interview. I don't know if that has anything to do with the actors he is working with in this movie or if hes just a bit shy but he seems more joyfull and happy when he is around the cast of CMBYN..

Whitney2022 He mentioned that he has extended family in show business so he may have been exposed to older actors, films, directors, etc. He’s also done theater and given his age, he’s probably played opposite older cast members. This cast and director are both young so maybe it’s just a different experience for him. His experience in CMBYN, as many of us know by now, was very immersive. He lived in Italy for 2 months and spent a lot of time with veteran actors, crew, and of course director Luca Guadagnino (who often entertained the cast at his home). He had a lot of time to REALLY get to know these people personally as well as professionally. That translates to greater camaraderie.

I believe even though this movie released after CMBYN and Ladybird, he made it before. I think he is a little embarrassed about it. It comes across as very much a YA teen troupe. And after Ladybird he can see clearly the difference in quality all around. The decision to take this job because it was work was showing up as a learned regret.

4:05 pretty sure half of his sentence was cut off. His insight on the film's theme is far more important than other meaningless questions. He really takes all of his roles seriously in an undifferentiated way. HSN might not be as good as CMBYN, but his performance is surely worth watching.

I love finding the truth how mature Timothee is in facing the situation here. How serious he is in talking about the movie and acting. I love his reaction when the interviewer asked about the other intention in joining the acting class. Seeing the others' reaction might give irritable feeling for Timothee as he already knew how important the acting class is. He got his acting talent improved day by day also because of his effort and struggle in learning the best for acting. He loves doing the acting, and he has unique skill and talent, which that means amazing. He is a prodigy of acting. I love the way Timmy takes seriously his acting skill. He's totally in different level than they're since beginning. I love him, I love his mind and soul 😍😅

I really don't like how people bring down/compare the other actors to Timothée. He is an old soul, significantly more intellectual than most of his peers and he has mentioned before that he feels more comfortable with his seniors. That doesn't mean the others are bad people, they might not be as intelligent and they evidently don't take acting as serious as Timmy but they certainly don't deserve such criticism for it

I feel like Timothée blends better with actors that are older than him, because he’s a very mature person. And if he ever blends with people his age, it’s on a movie with more of a serious and age-old premise, if that makes sense. Timothée doesn’t do well with teens of regular maturity levels, when I was watching this interview I couldn’t really see the chemistry, which might’ve been why the movie turned out so-so.
