I really needed a trip to the outdoors again to reset after having the flu for a few weeks. nothing better than a night out hot tenting. I did a little snowmobiling and ice fishing in between. We have had record snowfalls here in Nova Scotia even though it does not appear that way. There was a hard layer on the surface which somehow was holding my 190 lbs up. You could see where the deer were falling through. When I took my snowshoes off I sunk through a few times while harvesting firewood. I set up my trusty Pomoly Stovehut 70 2.0 with my paired Pomoly Altay Winter Stove. I located some awesome apple and maple hardwood. It didn't take long to get set up and I cooked a delicious pork meal. It was a beautiful calm crisp and cold night but the stove kept me more than warm enough.
