As a mother who has a son that needs a kidney, I hope and pray that this artificial kidney is available before it's too late for my son. He decided to stop dialysis 5 months a go. He.said "every day not being hooked to a machine is a good day. " It's a miracle that he's still here today. He would be willing to so the clinical trials. Please help this happen for my son and others. Thank you for trying to give a better quality of life for people with poor kidney function. Sincerely, Debra Collins. Mother of Adam. Thank you.....

No, they are making fool out of us , the lobby of dialysis is more and this dialysis lobby will not allow them at least for 10 years or more , i don't know how he gets sleep by fooling people's...

I'm praying in the name of God almighty that these are able to be used soon I have ADPKD and am in a serious bout with cyst ruptures on both kidneys right now and the pain is unbearable.

I told my wife a few weeks ago that it would be really great if we had a way to do dialysis without having to be stuck with needles and setting in some chair for 4 hours. That's where I'm at this point. I started dialysis July of '22'. This would be great!

It is an excellent project.it is understandable why US and other governments are not providing a few billion dollars to this project which not only liberate kidney patients from this deadly disease, but also save a few hundred billion dollars which the governments spending for dialysis, and transplant and immune suppressant medicine. Please join with me to request your Senators, Congress Representative’s and government departments to allocate funds for successfully completion of this project. Mohammad Faisal

I have FSGS and have had two unsuccessful kidney transplants with recurrence of FSGS . The artificial kidney is pretty much my only hope right now .

Hemo dialysis makes a ton of money for many people. That's why grants are hard to come by. Same with type 1 diabetes. Go figure.

$90,000 per patient per year. No way that Fresenius or DaVita would ever let something like this make it to market. They'll buy it and shelve it or lobby the politicians to prevent FDA approval.

Good question. I think they are going to make a huge profit on this so private companies are happy to front the cost for research.

Look up Dadvice. Pronounced D advice (D for Dialysis I assume) or Dad Vice as the site owner calls it. The Marcella shot would need to continue according to Dr. Roy and the maker of the WAK wearable artificial kidney said the shot would have to continue. But that video is about 9 months old if I remember correctly
