There are a few things for relieving bladder control issues quickly Consider using Kegel exercises- which involve flexing the same muscles you use to stop the urinary flow. Consider using losing weight if you are overweight excess belly fat puts pressure on the bladder and the pelvic muscles. Shedding a few pounds if you are overweight can help restore your bladder control. See if you can train your bladder - put off going to bathroom. Try to delay urinating by 10 minutes and build up to 20 minutes etc. Consider using magnesium and vitamin D Consider Quiting smoking. Nicotine can irritate the bladder. (I read these and why they work from Nilah control plan site )

This happened to me in 6th grade, one day I was able to hold it for around 2 hours and 30 minutes and now its only for an hour and 30 minutes. How can I stop it?
Natural result of aging? I'm not even 30 yet! and this started when i was 16.. i have literally been "retraining" delaying, and doing kegels for over a freaking decade.. Time to ask my doctor about meds or surgeries.
NymphetaminexXxGrrrl I know, right?! I'm 25, I have been dealing with this for two years, and kegles, behavior therapy, and meds haven't helped. The problem is that I have diminished sensation in my bladder, and so, oftentimes, I just start peeing when my bladder is full, and it's very hard to stop.
Don't take medicine or surgery. Our bodies can heal themselves we just need to be train our eating and lifestyle. Most likely your blood is poisoned, due to either medication or the food you eat. If the blood is poisoned it damages the kidneys when it passes through them, which then irritated the bladder. Your blood is full of toxins. Take an iron mineral supplement such as Lugols Iodine drops. And get on a gluten free, diet. The food industry and big farma are allowing foods to enter the stores that actually poison us. I know it's difficult but drinks such as coffee and soda and alcohol are irritants to the bladder. Watch this video entitled: how I cured my overactive bladder. It's a guy who talks about iodine deficiency, and also look up a video from Dr. Burgman bladder function
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fTbSrE5BQAo.html. This is the video how I cured myself of frequent urination and nocturnal urination. Must watch for all you out there who have been dealing with this problem
I’m 42 years and being dealing with this problem for over 10 years and getting worse. Kaiser did several test on my blood and urine and supposedly didn’t find anything . I can’t drink a small cup of water because I have to go to the bathroom 3 0r 4 each ten minutes and a small amount comes out only.
Thank you Dr. Kim, while your presentation was very informative, I believe that the bad outcomes of polypropylene mesh is far overlooked, and under appreciated. Having lived with the horrendous outcome from both SUI, and POP mesh, I would have to,say that the numbers may be a bit skewed. Many women do not develop problems for, several years, and the problems are devastating. Loss of income, home, family, just to name a few are the results of mesh gone terribly wrong. There is no better, or new mesh. Polypropylene was never meant to be put into a clean enviornment, and the body has a natural ability to fight the "foreign object", creating a host of terrible outcomes. Erosion, chronic infection, and pain that grows worse daily. The device companies were warned by the oil companies not to use this oil based material, (polypropylene mesh), yet the data was "lost". Real, informed consent should include this information. It is devastating to the patient and their family.
for the last 10 years i have overactive bladder. I pee almost 9 times a nite. I went to different Dr. and they never give me a right medicine. just 5 days ago I went to another Dr. and he prescribe me oxybutynin. and it really work on me the night i took it. so I m very happy. and my question is how long do I have to take this medicine. Thanks for your answer
I don't believe that Nocturia associated Overactive Bladder should be defined as "Two or more times a night" because waking once a night, everynight is still abnormal, especially in younger patients.
You shared very good information. My uncle was suffering from this problem. He was very upset at that time. He went to Planet Ayurveda and started his treatment. Now he is fine. If you have this type of problem or any other type of health problem. You must go to Planet Ayurveda.
Hello, can I know your uncle conditions? My father was diagnosed OAB and his mentall break down and he feel so upset .. may I know your uncle conditions now? is he still take the medicine or any injection ?

why is oxytrol , the patch system, for women not recommended for men? it is a transdermal patch , i as i understand but why would this be harmfull for male users , can u please explain
Does this apply equally to both male and female? or is this discussion mainly pertain to females because the speaker is female doctor?. I am a guy so just wondering out loud because I thought it was mainly a guy thing, she did mention prostate at some point I think.
kiel lll call your pharmacist and ask. That's what they get paid for. Or use the online system and contact your doctor. Or look it up in one of those medical books that has all the interactions. You'd have to buy one or check when out from the library.
I am 25 years old, my incontinence has not responded to medication, behavioral modification, or physical therapy. The problem is that I have reduced sensation in my bladder, and a cystoscopy showed that I am emptying completely, but that the muscles inside my bladder are overly defined, and that it was filling up quickly from my left kidney. Do people like myself typically respond to tibial nerve stimulation or Botox?
Mai Witzmann hi, no it didn’t cure it but it did make my bladder feel normal for 6 months but then I just had to keep getting the procedure over and over. I had the procedure done 3 times and couldn’t afford to do it anymore so I’ve been looking into alternative methods like nutrition, herbs, and physical therapy. These are helping significantly!
Take Lugols Iodide drops they have been proven to cure people of bladder problems, with results in just 2 weeks. Toxins in the blood stream are to blame for all bladder issues. Never take medication, all man made meds fix one problem but ruin another organ. Use minerals and vitamins. Look up a video entitled: how I cured my overactive bladder it's a guy that talks about iron deficiency

Viola Mena the doctors don't know crap and I swear to God I don't know how they stay employed but I guess just nobody checks in on them because I end up knowing way more after doing about 48 Hours of research reading all the scientific journals on the topic and then I go in there and the person is clueless. I would love to be making their kind of pay instead of working 10 to 14 hours a day as a teacher. I find most doctors to be just an absolute joke.
Yua all need to research on interstitial cystitis thats what is really called.... and it hurts badly like battery acid 24.7 and you pee more than 60x day in and day out
If you want an explanation you need to go see a urogynecologist. Then you can spend some time looking it up on scientific journals. But she is right as that is what my urogynecologist told me. I'm going 31 times a day on a good day. Part of it is a histamine response so they will put you on a particular type of antihistamine. Then you need to go to pelvic floor PT and you'll be forced to stretch things out so you're only going to the bathroom every 2 to 3 hours ideally. It's like tough love for your bladder. And it's uncomfortable and hard to get through but what choice do you have? And don't get a hysterectomy because then you'll have incontinence. Seriously look it up and all the different scientific journals. But then you'll have fibroids that continue to grow and that's its own beast. There's a lot of misery in this life.
Look half the people here have no idea what this disease is You having to pee even when you barely have to is not overactive bladder That is just a common symptom of anxiety You are fine you just keep overthinking your problem too much A good way to get rid of it is to go into a public space, drink a lot, and wait 3 hours before going to the bathroom It will prove to brain you can actually hold pee and you will eventually be fine Overactive bladder means your bladder overflows and leaks occasionally, however knowing that anxiety is a mimic disease Anxiety can take the shape of many rare diseases or disorders, don’t be fooled
RU-vid Channel CBD oil apparently helps with anxiety and my friend started taking one that she sells that is 100% non psychogenic oh, and it really helped her with her overactive bladder which kind of proves what you are saying and I know from experience with other things that help with anxiety that I don't have to pee so much. But I'm not willing to take CBD oil cuz it can screw up your liver. Not something I'm willing to chance. But this is something that really does need to be pointed out.
@@marcevionj It wasn't my friend who had a messed-up liver from CBD oil fortunately, but I had read that that was one thing that could happen to people so you should have your liver panel drawn by your doctor if you are taking CBD oil and make sure you get one that has 3rd party testing. Some people have a sensitive liver when it comes to pharmaceuticals and supplements. I think it's just a genetic predisposition. But that's why some drugs like Keytek or Ketoconazole wind up with black box warnings for liver toxicity. Nothing to mess around with!
Only anxiety can cause frequent urine and pain while urinating?? Because my CT scan and ultrasound showed everything normal with the bladder and uroflomatry test also showed everything Is ok so I decided not to further test and I have really very bad anxiety issues
The Raw Reality Of IC Videos I have these symptoms and my doctor told me it was bladder pain syndrome, which is a new and more specific name for this type of problem. It's a pain alright.

Yep I'm at 31 times in a 24-hour period as well... 😜 I know that's not what you meant but it can happen to anyone of any age when my issues started when I was 2 years old. People are only supposed to go to the bathroom six to seven times in a 24-hour period.
