Being a body builder that is an accurate bicep. There is indeed a gap. It depends on how you turn your wrist. If you make a fist and have the fingers facing you, it’ll leave a gap. If you turn your wrist during a fist where the fingers are facing out, you will not have the gap.
It says you may hurt the figure. That doesn’t mean you 100% will. They just put warnings on items just incase they break. Many companies do this for many items, you can still pose this figure all you want but there is a chance you can damage it because no product is invincible. And btw the fact that you are an adult and don’t know how a muscular bicep looks is kind of sad.
An interchangeable front of the tunic (if that is what it's called) featuring the damage that Thor inflicted on him would also have been great, especially when used in tandem with the grimacing sculpt.
Bicep on the pre-posed arm seems fine. Some people develop their bicep muscles differently and usually when they lift weights too heavy for them, and strenuously continue to lift that weight, they tend to build a tighter muscle, but smaller overall. When done with the arms, it can misshape the bicep. Looks natural, to me, but a sign of incorrect training.
If there's one thing that's always consistent with figures that expensive and super realistic is the problem of posing them without damaging their "skin" or clothing if you leave them with a bent elbow, which is a shame, you want to put them is an action pose, but you risk damage, wish they could a way to avoid this from happening in the first place, without those figure looking like they were bought at Walmart or something. At least, they look really good on their own and Thanos in no exception here, a slight modification to the light would probably make all the Infinity stones shine better, but otherwise, really nice representation of Thanos, awesome review as always, Paul!
For the bent arm, the gap under the bicep is most likely to allow the forearm guard to rotate without rubbing against the bicep. Not the best looking sculpt, but I don't see how they could've done it better....
Not gonna lie, his arms could've looked a little more muscular, they look like a fat dude's when straight. I guess that's the price of having no visible joints, you don't get a lot of definition.
Your the best reviewer and point out the little small mistakes that I love I am almost a teen but I will always be a child watching you’re awesome videos
You can’t complain about the arms not being able to be left in a pose to prevent damage and the gapping in the joint areas in the same video. The gapping in the joint is to prevent damage, the latex arms looks better but could cause damage. The fact that you complain about both in the same vid is the reason hot toys keeps giving us figures with both because whatever they do people complain. We either need to decide that we would rather have accurate figures that will be damaged by posing of figures with exposed joints and gaps but will be harder to damage. We have to choose.
huge bodybuilders have a bicep that looks like that, watch Arnold Schwarzenegger movie about pumping iron, he flexes and it looks like that, but Thanos's body is shaped after this bodybuilder Rich Piana
