I am in the US and just ordered a hot toys commander Cody off there about 5 days ago and picked 7-8 day shipping and it hasn’t started shipping yet, it was just New Years and they say im 7-8 working days for shipping so I can’t blame them to much since they’ve only had 3 working days since I ordered it but 6 days overall. And it has to go through customs but I hope nothing bad happens to it
I ordered Alita Battle Angel from Toys Wonderland on 16th April. Ten days later, I got her here in the UK. Paid cheapest postage too. Totalled about £243. They marked her as a gift so no customs charges either. Absolute win!

I asked them If they could state lower values ON parcels to lower the crazy customs Up to 30percent.first yes of course WE do this....when the Order was placed they Said WE CAN NOT DO IT AND STOLE ME 500 Euros.....thats all i have to add....this Store stealing Money avoid them and be prepared to get fucked when you say refund me my Money.....
I've used both an I'm still a new collector. Unfortunately sideshow have got a bad shipping rep at the moment due to the backlogs etc. But you pay extra for double boxing and insurance, also have a 30 day window from recieving your figure to report any faults and sideshow will fix it. Toys wonderland may appear great and they are good value for money. But they mark your goods as cheap so they can cut on the shipping and you don't pay import tax and your goods are not insured if lost during delivery. Hate that the UK sixth scale market is way overpriced at the moment though... unless you're buying from fellow collectors.

TW are terrible at shipping in stock items!! They give you a phantom tracking number and expect the customer to wait over a week, if you're lucky for the item to ship!! Customer service sends generic emails when you make a query regarding your order and are useless. Buyers beware of TW super slow shipping and poor customer service. Avoid.
I hear you man. I've been waiting for pennywise for over two years and they keep pushing it back. Ive been dealing with sideshow for many years. But for my last figure I ordered it from another company and it was free shipping and 30 bucks cheaper then all these other sites. I will ad that I do like like the points you get and codes from sideshow. I preordered the bew dark knight rises batman and I saved 54 dollars so that was good. Loved the vid . Bye

First time on wonderland and I went for the instalment plan, Only now finding out that you have wait till all payments gone through to receive the item. For some reason I got a email confirmation saying preparing for shipment and I already been charged for shipping too. Got any idea what’s happening?

Thanks Paul. also have a look at toy buying agent............I HAVE NOT BROUGHT anything from them but I have an item in my cart. Free shipping under 2kg. it should be my next figure. I buy all my figures from Toys Wonderland or KG Hobby, another HK retailer. Just to say the shipping on the Thanos figure you mention is only so high at the moment while regular HK post shipping is paused to the UK on any item over 2kg. I'm waiting on the HK post option returning before having them ship my Vader. Anything under 2kg is unaffected.
If in the UK like myself. Go to Facebook 'waffle P O' (pre order) group. Daniel Rogers is your man. His prices are better than hk delivered to your door. Nice bloke and worth a look. Tend to stick to hk (Kghobby the most) for accessories or phicen bodies.
I pre-ordered endgame cap from sideshow in June of 2019 and I'm still waiting. This is my first hot toy but if I ever buy another, it will be with toys wonderland. My roommate got stealth suit spiderman within 4 days of ordering using toys wonderland.

Hey Diecast! First time here. 😀 Thanks for the video. I wanted to order for the first time from TW and got completely confused with the checkout process! I want to pre order The Batman from Inart. It was around £250 I think, give it take. I went through to checkout and obviously it was around 2,500 HKD. When I was asked to confirm from my bank the amount was 2,500 with no $ next to it. I was concerned that 2,500 pounds was about to be taken from my account to I cancelled. I then got an email from TW saying, oops, I forgot to checkout and the amount was 322 Euros?! Oh jeez! Would it be easier through PayPal? Any advice is much appreciated ✌️

Very informative as I’ve never ordered from toys wonderland I was wondering about the cost and shipping I’ve only used sideshow as I do live in the states
I won’t use Toy Wonderland. If you have a problem with an order good luck getting your money back. They’re not going to refund you like SideShow did. I had to open disputes with my bank and they’re still recharging my card even know the bank reversed all their previous charges. No goods were exchanged. And they still think they’re entitled to money from me.
I had a problem with one of my orders they sent me the wrong item, Fortunately for me they were fast and efficient and let me keep the first item the item was small and only valued at around £20 but still a win for me. I have placed my first order with Toy buying agent so far so good fast efficient but I'll wait till the figure gets here before I pass judgement

Have you paid anything if not just don’t pay anything and send a polite email saying you don’t want the item anymore If you have and it’s on its way you will have to send it back and ask for a refund. It would probably be easier to try and resale it in your own country. Hope it helps.

I wanna pick up the replica Thor hammer and Stormbreaker, but how come the shipping costs more than the items themselves. I’m trying to keep it under 900 usd and both items together are 450 usd but it comes out to 1,011 with shipping.
Ebay think is your best bet. Matthew. I picked one up very cheap but has to repaint the stormbreaker. Made from diecast but had a red handle it a little smaller but it look good.
I need some help I really wanna pick up that Spider-Man far from home figure 1/6 scale I came A cross there website from Justin Collection and the payment plan really surprised me I was thinking about doing it but I have just one question if I were to do the payment plan wouldI get the figure while I’m still making payments or would I have to pay the whole thing off then get the figure?
My nephew is doing the payment plan and the answer is you have to pay the whole amount before the item is sent to you. The reason for this is they do this on trust and not with a finance company like. So it’s understandable that way there is no risk to them. Hope this helps thanks Chris.
Forbidden Planet are the absolute worst. Their prices are just ridiculous. Pumping prices up a little is understandable, but not to the extent some of these UK stores do. Sideshow are useless for us in the UK, so HK is the way to go for anything reasonable.

@@diecastattic126 The only useful thing about Forbidden Planet is that they have a great big store in the heart of London so you can pop in to get a good look at items you are thinking about getting cheaper elsewhere. Well, that’s me anyway! Nice to have a UK collector making some videos. Will we get a collection tour any time soon?! Is it just Marvel, or are you into some other franchises too?

@@diecastattic126 I actually had the Suicide Squad Harley, but parted ways with it becasue I couldn't get myself to like the outfit. I have the dancer Harley though, and that's one of my favourite pieces in the collection, and one i'd really recommend, especially if you're after the Suicide Squad line. It's a real gem in-hand. Prices for both of those figures are going through the roof though now. I do like Batman, but only from the TDK trilogy, so have some figures from those movies. My favourite movie superhero character is probably Winter Soldier, so have a few versions of him, as well as Cap, Spider-Man, and Harry Potter. Also into some other charcters like Tyler Durden, Patick Bateman, as well as some Classic Hollywood actors. My interests and picks are a bit all over the place to be fair haha. Good luck with decorating. Getting them all set up and looking good does take time and effort! Looking forward to the tour.

I've been lucky so far and have paid nothing in taxes from Hong Kong. (same for my buddys who buy from there) What they do is put it as a toy or gift so you don't have to pay any. But keep in mind if they open it you could get a bill for the duty. Now if you buy from the USA you are going to get a big bill about a week or so later. If you read one the comments on this video you'll see a viewer is not so happy about this. think he is a seller. but if you can get it cheaper in HK you do it. hope this helps thanks for the comment.

if a item was ordered and marked as shipped but i didn’t receive the item will they give me a refund for the item i payed for since i never received it?
Hi Kenneth if you have not received your items then you are entitled to a full refund but I would wait until the status of the delivery says delivered. also reach out to the seller they will have more info on your figures progress hope this helps
@@kennethmoyett9778 they have insurance on the items delivered to you that’s why it has to be signed for. Sometime it can talk over a month to get to the UK then another week once here. I would contact the seller and ask for an update on the delivery status. Hope this helps and let us how you get on.
It's not the best system. you have to cash them in as you go and you can only use a certain amount on a certain figure. I was saving them you to get a free figure or postage. but it doesn't work like that its is bullshit. Hang on to your hat as we have just ordered a 3 figures from toy buying agent one is here and the other two are on their way. video coming soon.

They are all good until something goes wrong. I have had a 100% from everyone UK and HK. I use facebook marketplace toys wonderland toy buying agent and more.
It’s worth pointing out that prices presented by resellers are entirely based on demand, which is why we see such huge fluctuations, that see the price of rocket and other marvel characters fall lower as the supply is higher than the demand. Whereas released mandolorian figures on toys wonderland are typically higher than Sideshow’s RRP as the demand is so much greater. Secondly Hong Kong resellers will typically mark down value on the customs declaration to help you avoid duties, although spot checks at the border could still land you with an extra bill. Therefore, it’s important to do your research for each order as sticking with a single seller is unlikely to result in the cheapest option for every order and there are other important factors such as customer service and availability of replacement parts in the event of your order arriving damaged . I’ve not seen your content before but it surprises me that you could put out a ten minute video without mentioning any of the above, but I do not believe you are intentionally looking to misinform viewers and rather put it down your own inexperience in the hobby.
Can only say what I have personally experienced I cannot justify the price some of the people in the UK are selling for including some of my own personal friends but I always view peoples posts and watch to see how long their figures have been on there for many of them are there for weeks and months on end then I offer a low price and many times I’m successful in purchasing at a more reasonable amount. You’re right I am inexperienced but I’m leaning all the time and if I can save other collectors a few quid then I will. Making this video has help me so much as I’ve found a lot of really helpful advice in the comments from other collectors which I really appreciate. Now I think about it this video could probably upset quite a lot of people here in the UK as they are trying to make a living important and selling figures shops such as Zavvi and forbidden planet it’s just way too much. The only benefit buying from the shops is the post is reasonable or free. So thank you for your time and comment.
I've used this store previously for my heavy Mando. Now I cancelled my 2nd order of the deluxe scout trooper. They're asking for a shipping fee of 259 USD to my location, this would bump up the cost from 431 to 690. Basically anything 6th scale ok but deluxe which is heavier is a no. I have to find a better store.
