I had a rule. I grew up with Star Wars - OT and prequels, games and some read some Legends stories. But, I grew up reading/loving superhero comics more, so naturally when I got into Hot Toys 14 years ago, I told myself MCU and DCEU only. The ONLY Star Wars figures I'd buy is a ROTJ Luke Skywalker, Mando Luke and ROTJ Vader. Return is my favorite of the OT and I'd be content, but then out of nowhere Hot Toys gave us a new ROTJ Han which the community thought would never happen, and then dropped Revan (KOTOR is my favorite thing about SW outside the OT trilogy) - a figure I thought would never ever get made - then Dark Empire Luke. It was over from there. I'm chasing and bought a lot of SW figures as of late. I blame Revan, DE Luke and ROTJ Han...I'm in too deep now. I keep thinking of the possibilities of the Legends line of what we could possibly get...it keeps me up at night. LOL.
It really can be overwhelming when you think about all of the potential figures we could get on top of what there already is. So far I’ve shied away from any OT characters (Aside from Vader who will be coming soon) because there’s just too much and not enough space to accommodate all of them. The prequels will always be my bread and butter because I remember growing up watching them so I have to stay true in that aspect just to keep some semblance of control over myself lol. I have Revan on PO along with Thrawn who I plan to display together in a “EU shelf” so to speak. But only time will tell how it all ends up. Thanks for watching and leaving your feedback. I don’t have any figures on the bottom yet but yeah it’s like 4-5 inches from the floor due to the legs. Personally I think it looks really good. In an ideal situation, I’d prefer more display space, such as ModuSpace. But for me and my limitations at this point in time, I like it. You have more room than you would with 2 Detolfs or Blalidens side by side. You could probably cram 40 figures in there if you had to. The Luke Lights help too.
@@DarthTamarus I have a Detolf but Space is limited in these. And now that they are retired I have to put a Blaliden next to them and I don’t like them
@@malekith8447Yeah they look cool when you have a couple of them side by side but you really can’t fit more than 1 figure in there without it looking cramped. The MILSBO is okay. I’d recommend it.
