Was on the fence about getting this, but besides the lack of accessories, I don't like the lack of a plug in option for the lights. Sure, the suit looks awesome even with the lights off, but the lights were always on on the actual suit. I find it odd that Hot Toys only do batteries for all or most of their figures. Seriously, how many people who buy these figures are doing anything but leaving them in different static poses on their shelf? And batteries that will die in maybe 30 minutes of continuous use aren't practical at all for that. For $400+, how hard could it be to create some kind of connection to plug in the figure? Not even necessarily wires that could break when posing, but maybe metal contact points in the joints that could connect to the feet and base plate, and then the base plate could be plugged in.
Man, every time a new Iron Man suit comes out, I’m always going “Thats my favorite suit!” Last time, the one from Homecoming was one I liked a lot, now I’ve shifted to the Mark 50. NOW, I’m loving Endgame’s suit. But so far, this is my favorite Iron Man Hot Toy, the sleekness of it along with the accessories (and also the fact that I’m a sucker for nanotechnology).
Remember when Iron Man shot terrorist in the head with shoulder bullets. Now in his last movies he was using blasters. I get it’s upgrades but I also feel Disney had a part in the switch. Great review too Shartimus
Saw a reliable reviewer say the extra accessories aren't weathered so he wasn't a fan and they didn't use translucent plastic for a lot of the projected parts.
Megalopolis gives you points so you can get free stuff. And free shipping after so much you spend. I know bbts is $4 but free is better if you get more. I don't know how fast shipping is, I live where they have actual store. And you can earn enough points to get a whole wave.
i think the mechanics of the mark 50 is the best suit that id wear everyday everywhere its way better than any before it i mean since its nano tech and takes little to no time for it to be put on
It's been awhile since you made a review from a Hot Toys figure, I hope you do more, you're one of the few who makes articulations reviews and I like them!
The only thing I can complain about is the fact that the stand is very light-weight for the diecast figure. Other then that, I freaking adore how the Mark L turned out. Did you use the default stand? I could not get it to be posed like that, for the life of me
It would be great if Hot Toys would use magnetic power in their display bases. Just place the figure on the base..... And then it lights up! I'd pay more for this option.
Wow the figur looks amazing I would so buy it but one thing that’s bugging me is it kind of looks like hawk eye and iron man face sulp mixed but wow it’s an amazing figure
Hang on... the Mark L is a nano-tech suit. Meaning it's made of tiny nanobots- hence how the weapons form and phase into existence, and why the suit kept shifting across Tony's body as Thanos was disintegrating the nanobots through the fight. So... why would there be scuff marks on the paint job for the suit, if the suit is constantly reforming and rebuilding itself? Hell, why is it even painted? HOW is it even painted? The colours would be pigments being projected by the nanobots, and will be changing depending on what the bots are shifting around to make so the colour scheme and patterns across the suit stay consistent. There's no reason there should be ANY paint scuffage, because there should be no paint to scuff in the first place. ... other than that, great looking figure.
Magnifique réalisation du mk 50 pour le prix le haut des cuisses hot toys aurait du faire des articulations un peut moins fragiles j'adore vos vidéos continuer comme ça tank you
Goodness gracious! Look at all the batteries it comes with! LOL Very nice figure though. Probably the best Iron Man from Hot Toys yet. But it's not without its QC issues though... That back piece dropping off easily is gonna be a problem.
The design is fucking awesome and perfect! The problem is that the armor in the movie is 100% organic and solid! It has no seams different of the mechanical armors. But as a toy it's impossible, bcs toys aren't organic. So the issue is that a Mk 50 HT will never look as accurate as the previous models
How many batteries does this figure need? Can you show us how you put the batteries and lights in? The box seems like it came with 10+ batteries which I can’t even think of how they all fit in that figure
